adidas Trail Response

adidas Trail Response

So much cushioning it's perfect for the rugged trail!! This shoe is a favorite of the high-mileage runner seeking a true cushioned trainer, who has a small- to medium-frame build and medium to high arches.adiPRENE cushions your ride while absorbing shock. Torsion ensures a stabile gait while TraXion grip holds the trail.

"This lightweight shoe has a snug fit. It feels tight initially but it's actually quite elastic. It has good heel cushion for a lightweight shoe. It provides some 'spring.' The tongue of the shoe seems long and touched the instep. It was a bit annoying until I got used to it. Overall, the shoe is a solid product and provides me a wider selection of shoes to consider."

"I am a full time personal trainer. I wore the shoes to teach spinning class, plus I ran in them and wore them as I worked out in a gym. These compare well against other shoes on the market. I was pleased with the support they provided."

"Compared to similar products on the market, TR8 matches up fine. Plenty of cushioning, good protection from trail debris. Slip lasting makes it plenty responsive to hard running (actually, this is the first slip-lasted trail shoe I ever worn). It's probably not made for heavier runners (200+). Did fine for me, but I figure they will break down faster at my weight. Shoe has a mid to narrow fit, arch support OK. Again: big, flat- and wide-feeted runners should stay away. The shoe is usable for training runs/races up thru 20 miles. Serious trail runners going long/ultra distances will want something more high-end (North Face, Montrail, etc.), but it does just fine for most runners. Would recommend to that group. Would not recommend to non-runners. That group would get no benefit out of this trail shoe when they could get a nice pair of hiking shoes from another shoe maker that is better for walking/hiking on trails."

"Overall I think these shoes are well constructed and also lightweight. Compared to other shoes, I have to say that I really loved the Beltline (don't like the newer version). On this shoe, I did like the fit and cushion factors. I have a narrow foot and the adidas seem to fit better than many trail shoes on the market. My one complaint is that they have too much "stuff" on them (plastic pieces on the upper, etc). I would recommend this shoe to amateur trail runners, but probably would recommend upper end trail shoes or elite racers."
