Trail Running minicrew socks

Thorlo adds another generation to their running sock family with the Trail Running series. Medium density acrylic and a CoolMax pad in the toe box and under the ball of the foot absorb force of impact. The same combination at the back of the heel prevents blisters caused by your shoe rubbing your Achilles tendon area. More CoolMax in the top of the sock and throughout the body of the sock wicks moisture to keep feet dry and comfortable. This sock is perfect for varied terrain and high temperatures.

"My toes have never been happier! At first, looking at the socks, I thought there were too thick, but after putting them on I was pleasantly surprised at how much cushion on the heels and toes there was. My feet have never felt so good after a long run. After running four marathons and a bunch of half marathons and always losing toenails, I look forward to this year's marathons wearing these socks. Anyone with sensitive feet and toes should try these socks - you won't be sorry!"

"I was very satisfied with these socks. To be honest, I've not tried anything other than athletic socks, which were incredibly hot. These made a big difference. They were very soft and form-fitting, but not at all restrictive or binding. I prefer more of a crew sock length, and these were pretty short, but they were fine. I didn't wear these in really hot conditions but the difference between these and regular athletic socks was obvious - no sweaty, stinky feet!"

"I tried these socks in different ways, including with low-cut hiking shoes and for running on streets and doing speed work. They compare very favorably for hiking purposes. As to running, they are good, better than most, but I would not rank them quite as high as Ultimax Ironman Triathlon socks. They are wearing well following multiple uses and washings, and are not breaking down. For certain uses, they would seem to be a very good buy. I think they will endure a lot of punishment."
