I would like to introduce you to my daughter, Kimberly Tamez. She is 7 years old and is in the 2nd grade at Wagner Elementary School in Placentia, California. Kimberly was injured in an accident in October of 2000. As a result she has a T-5 Spinal Cord Injury. Since her injury she has made great progress in her wheelchair. While attending a Wheelchair Sports Camp in San Diego, Kimberly got the opportunity to ride a handcycle. She loved it! Her coach told us about your foundation. Kimberly is currently working on her wheelchair skills, playing basketball, and swimming. I belive that Kimberly would love a handcycle so that she could ride along with her 10 year old sister and 3 year old brother.
