YOUR FULL SCOOP:
Your fun starts at 5:30PM when you check-in and collect your supplies (pen, paper, baggie). You'll have fun meeting other people while checking out cool new running products (shoes, electronics, gear and more) that you can test for FREE during your run. Be sure to pre-register to get the map emailed to your smart phone for easy use during the run.
Be ready to go when the giant 12-ft map drops at 6:30PM sharp with up to 12 check points marked. You'll plot your adventure (AKA, jot down all the checkpoints) then hit the road with the goal of collecting as many raffle tickets from as many checkpoints as possible in 60 minutes.
Make it back to your finish line by &:30PM to drop your hard-earned raffle tickets in the lucky bins, grab a beer and find a spot to spread your lucky raffle tickets. count your lucky stars as $3,000 in FREE raffle prizes are awarded - running gear, gift certificates and more!
Register by noon on event day to receive a FREE beer ticket from Lagunitas. You'll get an extra ticket for wearing your Discovery Run Tech-Tee.

How much does this cost? It's completely FREE!
When is cutoff for pre-registration? Noon, the day of the event. After that, you'll have to register at the event. Registration and check-in open at 5:30PM on event night. You want to arrive early!
Where does the Discovery Run Start/Finish? It always starts at your Roadrunner Sports Tualatin store.
Is this a running only event, or can walkers attend? Discovery Run is for walkers and runners alike! Even when walking you'll be able to hit many checkpoints within 60 minutes.
If I run to all checkpoints how long will that be? Because the course changes every month, and everyone's route is different, it's impossible to know! Most people can hit 6-8 checkpoints in 60 minutes, but it's rare to hit all 12. checkpoints range from a few steps to up to 3-miles from the store so most people find themselves running/walking 3-8 miles. The most important thing is that you're back by 7:30PM to drop your raffle tickets in the lucky bins.
Who can come to Discovery Run? Everyone! Bring your friends, kids, parents, even friendly dogs -- Discovery Run is FREE fun for people of all ages and levels. You just have to be 21 to enter the beer garden.
