Great!!!

By Cascadeallstar20

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

What is everyone talking about? If anything, the mako torq is teaching good habits, the 360 rotating handle is teaching a palm up Palm down position. This results in muscle memory which is good cause when the kids do switch to wood bats it will help them get to that palm up Palm down position. I agree that this bat is overpriced but it is not a bad bat it is a great bat!

Fear of Something New?

By RALBulldog

from Ashland, KY, USA

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

Bought these for my twin sons on September 5th and they've now had the opportunity to put them through some machine time and one game. They tell me the Torq pretty much feels just like their YB14MKs and, as the old baseball Dad just swinging a Torq in the garage, I can tell you that it really does feel about the same to me. All of the one-stars on here worried about the sky falling and fundamentals following them down need to go swing one. Honestly, the new super spinning grip isn't all that noticeable. The barrel and handle do turn in opposition, but its not a spinning top, like one would believe after watching the promos. There is resistance and the movement, at least in my experience, is not very perceptible. Don't fear something new; try it for yourself.

Hands natural movement

By Slaw

from San Diego, CA

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

The torq is fine it allows your hands to move in their natural movement. If your grip rips it's because your hands are trying to move as you swing and the torq allows them to move plus you'll never need a new grip and won't get as many blisteres and your hands won't sting without batting gloves. This bat is perfectly fine.

SWAGGER BAT

By Ash

from San Diego, CA, USA

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

Pros: We got this for my son's birthday gift. Honestly we didn't expect that much cause we never seen before grip rotates. We thought it could be just show case bat. My son has YB14MK and SL14MKB since last year and they both works great for him. He is 7yrs old but he play 8U/9U. He is a power hitter but XL1 is quitely heavy. This TORQ is crazy... Actually this bat makes my son's swing position better and we can tell ball fly more farther also. He hits home run easy with this bat. All teammates are hits home run with this bat today. I wouldn't worry about bad hobby via rotates grip. This age must be fun play. That's what all I matter. Also I'm sure this bat makes young player's feel comfy when they swing. My son loves it so much this bat than any others. Easton, you guys did well done!

this is a great bat but has a flaw

By tonyannouncer1

from california

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

this is a awsome bat would reccomend the flaw in the bat is the coating. they must have a bad batch of coating. I've had 2 bats both chipped very easily. 2nd I might point out real good coaches dont care for the torque feature. I like it id rather have my kid roping them now(wich this bats helps) as long as he give equal practice with a regular bat with no torque. then hes not losing wrist rotation overall id reccomend the bat but they need to fix the coating issue. thats the only reason it didnt get 5 stars.

Great pop but questionable durability

By Rocketboy

from Ozark, MO, USA

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

My 7 year old son is playing coach pitch baseball and I have always been a believer in, "you get what you pay for". This bat has been awesome for my son. His confidence has went up drastically at the plate as he is now hitting them out to the middle of the outfield on a line. However, the bat started to rattle in the handle last week and now with try outs last week, my son had to go back to last years bat because his new torq being shipped back to easton. My question is going to be what happens if this happens after the one year warrantee again? Is this a continuing issue with the Torq that needs to be worked out?

Great but worried

By Oneofelksmvps

from Undisclosed

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

I got the bat about 2 or 3 weeks ago I've used it in 2 games and broke it in. I love the way it feels it has good pop I like the rotating Handel, it is hard to get used to going from my 2014 mako but after breaking it in I got used to it. So far I have had no problems, I do not like the hologram sticker I feel that is dumb were it is put one inside pitch you just barely can't get to and your warranty is void, I would recommend putting the sticker under the grip. So my last makos sleeve shattered it was a 13 month old bat but I hurt easily 5,000 balls with it I know that number is high but I'm worried for this bat, we bought a older xl1 that was 3 tears old and still has almost as much pop just beat up j guess it would depend on the player but 3 years should be more than 5,000 balls. I hope this bat doesn't do this, if it does for high school ball I will buy an xl1 and if that doesn't last me 2-3 years I'm not going to buy another easton, their are bats that can nearly keep up with this bat but I can't use these ones it in under 60degrees whether and it lasted me 1 season, I love the way they feel I have big expectations for you guys your the best

Good feel and awesome bat speed

By TReedsZ

from Virginia

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

I bought bat for my son who plays in several leagues( 8U ). He's been hitting balls inside where the temps are above 60* and each day it gets Hotter and Hotter, balls coming off the bat that is. With little to no knowledge of the bats features, his hitting has been the biggest thing over seen. He's no longer smacking the ball into the ground. He's able keep a more even swing and drive the ball rather than coming over top of it. Great bat, good pop and increasing his bat control. Highly recommend someone give this bat a few 30-50 hits before posting their thoughts. Great job Easton. You've doing Great things!

Awesome Bat

By BoneDust28

from Kentucky

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

We purchased this bat for our 8 yr old son , and he hits like a beast with it . The ball coming off the bat is super quick and the bat has given him so much for confidence . The bat is a little pricey though . Didn't like giving as much as my car payment for a bat .

Bat has tons of pop!

By baseballmom

from Massapequa, NY, USA

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

This is my followup review after having received a replacement of the Mako Torq from Easton. We had some problems with the grip tape, which had begun coming off within a day or two of use. We were also concerned because my daughter's Mako 2014 seemed to have tons of pop immediately upon purchase, and we did not experience with this Mako Torq. We contacted Easton online on Sunday regarding a possible warranty replacement. We also followup up the next day with an email. We were able to speak with a representative by phone that same day and they made arrangements to ship us a new bat to accommodate my daughter's tourney schedule. We received the new bat by Friday. The new Mako Torq that we received as a warrant replacement is vastly different from the original Mako Torq that we had problems with. No tape issues so far and my daughter has made at least 200 hits with this bat. The ball flies off this new bat. It has tons of pop and performs exactly as we would expect right out of the wrapper. In play with this bat, my daughter's first hit was a hard line drive right down past third, which she reached for and caught with the end of the bat. Her second hit in play was a hard line drive over the 2nd baseman's head. So far, so good!

Bat paint chips to easy

By Chip2

from Columbus, GA, USA

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

My son loves this bat.....But, I had to send in the MAKO bat I purchased in February for warranty replacement due to the large amount of paint chips all the way to the base composite. Easton Warranty was very helpful and had us a new bat two days after I shipped them the old one. My issue is that my son went to practice with the new bat and not even 3 hits later its already chipping (see attached photo).

I like it but.....

By quintee

from Undisclosed

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

My grandpa purchased this bat for 370 after tax. I think that the price shouldn't be that high. If you can find a 2014 mako i would get that instead. Today is the first day i got to actually hit with it. My first hit was hard and up the middle. If you square it is LOUD. But i don't the bat is worth the price it sells for. It's a very well made bat but it still has a couple kinks like the durability and weight.

This bat is awesome!

By Riverdogs99

from Sayreville, NJ, USA

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

I was very apprehensive to purchase this expensive bat, but of course my son's birthday falls upon the release date of this very well advertised bat from the LL world series ;)...First week in on the new bat, and my son hit his first inside the park homerun ever, and the next day...over the fence homerun #1...we have had the bat a month now, and just yesterday he hit the first "ground rule double" on a 50/70 field...he is so excited to have it, and I am sure alot is mental, but the bat absolutely has pop, and we are not disappointed. Best birthday gift ever..highly suggested.

Great Bat For about a Month (500+ Real Ball Hits) then massive crack at -10 (see photo)

By Yoda09

from Boston, MA, USA

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

Great bat!, (YB15MKT / 29 in / 19 oz / 2.25 in dia) - purchased for my son on 06/20/2015. He followed Suggested Use of bat: - Leather covered balls only - Limit the bat to his use only - Rotate the bat 1/4 turn each at-bat. Absolutely hitting absolute lazers at the sweet spot and hitting home runs for the 1st time. Unfortunately during BP before big playoff game two long cracks appeared (see photo) at the -10 black symbol on the barrel sweet spot and just by pressing(fingers) in the middle/along the 2 cracks you could feel that part of bat was soft and squishy and bat lost it's integrity. He even gave the bat a nick name: "Yoda" .

My son loves it

By Bigdaddy

from Orlando, FL, USA

Comments about Easton Mako Torq -10 Little League Bat Fitness Equipment:

My son loves it my only complaint is that he tried to bunt a fast ball, the ball hit the bat and spun it so the ball hit his face. I have since told him to choke up past the spinning part on a bunt
