Comments about Womens adidas adiSTAR Cushion 4 Running Shoe:

I've trained in Adidas supernova cushion shoes for more than 10 years, and the 07 versions of both the supernova and the adiSTAR cushion have been quite a disappointment. For the first time ever, I had to return the Supernovas due to lack of adequate cushioning. I was told by one of the RR reps that the AdiSTAR cushion 4 had "the most" cushion, more than the Supernova. Well, it had the least forefoot cushioning of any Adidas shoes I've run in. I was able to run maybe 4 miles before my forefoot started to throb. What happened? What prompted the change in the amount of cushioning in both the Supernova Cushion and the AdiSTAR?? Why mess with perfection? Please go back to last year's recipe.

Comments about Womens adidas adiSTAR Cushion 4 Running Shoe:

This shoe is so light I can hardly tell it's on my foot. This shoe doesn't have any seems, so it's almost like you're wearing a sock. It's very responsive and cushy. I love 'em! However - you really don't need to size up a half. I got my regular shoe size and they fit perfectly. Enjoy!

Comments about Womens adidas adiSTAR Cushion 4 Running Shoe:

I am an Adidas addict. I trained and raced in the 06 model for my last Ironman competition. I bought the 07 model two months ago and was I very disappointed. The cushioning in the front is totally different and the seamless design offers no support. I'll keep them for gym workouts and casual walking but my will look to another brand for my racing needs.

Comments about Womens adidas adiSTAR Cushion 4 Running Shoe:

Iloved last year's shoe. I have a high arch and need lots of cushioning. This year the shoe feels stiffer and different in the heel. I now have a case of plantar faciitis I didn't have before . Switched back to Asics hoping that helps.

Comments about Womens adidas adiSTAR Cushion 4 Running Shoe:

I LOVE these shoes. I felt that while the forefoot cushioning wasn't a soft cush feeling like those of Asics of Saucony, it was still response. Ran 10 miles and didn't have problems when I did in the Kayanos. I get a D width but didn't need to in these shoes as the mesh allows the shoe to open even more in the forefoot. SO LIGHT. And I agree with the previous runner.. I barely notice that they are on my feet. Totally recommend and they are my half marathon Carlsbad shoe.

Comments about Womens adidas adiSTAR Cushion 4 Running Shoe:

The description states that this shoe has a medium arch. Indeed it does. I do not recommend it for a runner with a high arch. The forefoot and heel were good, but there was a lot of space between my arch and the arch of the shoe. Should be sold in the medium arch
section not in the high arch section.
