May have contributed to an achilles problem that I had Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: I am a 5'6" 167lbs 45YO Male (Army) running 15-20 miles per week. Bought these for the cushioning...I have high arches and underpronate. These shoes provided good comfort and cushioning. The downside was that they wear out fast--about three months--as I started to get pain in my achilles tendon. I have been runing with Adidas for over ten years and never burned through shoes this fast. Overall, good shoe, but you've got to watch the wear so you don't get hurt. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: This has to be one of the worst shoes that I have ever run in. Compared to the Supernova Cushion that it replaces, it is not nearly as well cushioned and the heel to toe transition is miserable. I realize that I may be in the minority, but this shoe just doesn't work for me. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: I'm 6'2", 190+ lbs. I was a fan of the Supernova Cush, figured I'd try its next incarnation, the Glide. (What choice did I have, right?) It's hard to tell that the Cush and Glide are related. I took my new Glides out for a test run, but quickly made my way home so I could box them up and return them to RRS. Hot spots on the big toes of BOTH feet were just the start of the problems. I also found the cushioning uneven and the heel chafe-y. I tried an alternate lacing pattern, but to no avail. These things are The Cruel Shoes. I generally like Adidas shoes and products, which is what makes the Glide even more disappointing. Mizuno is getting my money this time around. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: After trying the NEW shoe everybody was claiming was the best thing since heaven, I am back into Addidas SN Glide. 200lbs @ 35 mpw Pros

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: Used training for and running in triathlons. Very solid shoe. Nice and snug in the middle and good room in the toe box. Not the lightest shoe, but that's what you get with the amount of cushion.
Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: I was a huge fan of the Supernova Cushion series. I really liked the SC7s. I like the glides but they are narrower than the SC7s. The tongue slides in the right shoe no matter how tight I tie them and I've even re-laced them. The cushioning is great, but feels a little heavier than the SC7s at first. Seems to have more cushioning in the toe off area. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: Good shoes, but too narrow. I have to size up between a full size to a size and a half. Otherwise, a good shoe. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: Tried a bunch of shoes in the store and picked these. About 60 miles on them and my only complaint is that the laces were too short and I had to swap them out. An excellent all-around shoe with adequate cushioning, a firm feeling underfoot, and decent rock protection running on trails. Bought a 2nd pair for the day the 1st pair dies. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: I'm 5'11" 155lbs, normal foot type and typically run about 60 miles per week. I have no complaints about the Glides, they have proven to be a good neutral shoe for everyday mileage. I would say the cushioning feel in the heel and forefoot is moderate. They are fairly soft but still have good responsiveness for faster runs. At 350mi now, expect to get 450-500 out of them. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: 5'7, 160 lbs, neutral gait. 30 -35 miles a week. I have put 150 miles on these shoes. I was looking for a light neutral shoe, with good cushioning. These are good shoes, excellent cushioning, a little bit more stability than I like but not bad, but they are just to heavy for me. I took out the original insoles and put in a Brooks univeral insole, because the original insoles made it to unbearably heavy and soft. Good shoes for slow short or medium runs. I can see how they would would good for heavier runners, but I need to start searching for lighter all purpose training shoe. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: Simple, smooth, with no negative points. The best thing I can say about these shoes is nothing. No problems at all. No blisters after 4 months. I was surprised because I haven't worn adidas for a good few years. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: Excellent cushioning, great heal to toe transition. One of those shoe that makes you feel faster. The enhanced cushioning in the forefoot provides better spring back after impact. Excellent shoe. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: these are the NEW old flat new balance. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: I rated these 5 stars in Feb and thought i'd give an update. I love these shoes. I've smashed them up pretty bad but I reckon 600 miles is the limit. I've bought another 2 pairs to rotate them this time. Fit is good and much better than the old narrow adidas fit. They feel smooth on the long runs, but the best part is when I pick up the pace and land midfoot/forefoot. The forefoot feels really fast. I went back to my old cumulus when I was waiting for the new shoes and they felt clumpy in comparison. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: A very nice fitting, well cushioned shoe. I have a narrow heel, normal midfoot and wide forefoot with average arch. Good room and depth in the toe box, this is my first pair of Adidas running shoes and I am really impressed. I prefer a well cushioned neutral shoe and I this is the best I've tried. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: Just recently purchased these because I only need a cushioned, neutral running shoe where the width is on the narrow side. These are perfect and the price can't be beat on RRS! Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: Great shoe. One of the few that feels snug around the heel. Other shoes I tried like the Mizuno Wave Runner 12 felt like my heel was coming out of the shoe on each stride. Cushioning is great. I've done an 8 and 9.5 mile run on them and have just ordered another pair. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: Excellent training and longer distance racing shoe. The best heel fit and durability of any previous models. Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide Running Shoe: I am 6' 200lb and run about 20 to 25 miles a week. I bought these shoes and liked them at first because the are very light and have good ventilation but I began to have trouble when I ran a ten miler in them. I got terrible blisters on the ball of each foot and began to have horrible shin pain. when I couldn't take it anymore I went to a running store to get a proper fitting and surprisingly they suggested the same shoe. I ended up with mizuno wave rider 12s and have not had any blisters or shin pain since. They seem to be good shoes but I would not suggest them.
