This shoe was a disappointment for me- there was notably less cushioning and a less responsive ride compared to the Control 5. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: I'm ordering my 3rd pair today. More durable than the 5. Seduces you into considering longer runs. My dream shoe, please don't discontinue it. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: I am 5'8" 155lbs and purchased these shoes to train for my first marathon after my Saucony Guides weren't giving me enough cushion on my longer runs (10-15 miles). Once broken in, these shoes provided a good amount of cushioning and are comfortable on both short and long runs. Two things to point out, though: The heel curves in significantly at the top on these shoes, which prevents me from wearing short socks without getting blisters. Also, I feel like there isn't enough cushion in the toe area. These may not be true for other runners, however. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: Adidas really got this shoe right! I took off on a 12 mile run right out of the box and it was by far the best feeling shoe I have run in since the Control 4's. I tried the 5's and the new Nike stabilizer but no luck. The Salvation was tremendous. I am a 49 yr old, 5'10, 185 lb. runner. Currently in marathon training mode and now relieved to know I have a new partner in the Salvation. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: I agree - right out of the box on a 9 miler - great! Named this shoe right. I am 58, 177 lbs. low arch 5'11" with a narrow foot and average 20+ miles a week. Pros

Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: LOVE this shoe, new to running, bad knees, flat feet and this shoes corrects it all. I can run farther with less after effect. Not getting any younger and with my workout routines it feels that way more and more everyday. This shoe made the difference for me. The shoe gets me tracking straight, takes the impact off my joints and helps me stretch my workouts out. going to order a few more pairs just in case adidas decides to discontinue this model.
Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: I have been looking for a replacement for the New Balance 1220 for a long time. These Adidas seem to have a very similar fit (I have a larger toe box), and they have better cushioning and better ventilation than the NB 1220. I needed a little extra heal lift, so I took an old insole from another running shoe and cut out the heal and placed it into this Adidas shoe, and it seems to have done the trick. I am 6', 175, and run about 30 miles a week. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: Surprisingly good. I had written off Adidas a while ago, but decided to try these after getting them on sale. Excellent cushioning and very smooth in transition. No issues with the upper and haven't felt so much as a hot spot. As with most running shoes, I would recommend replacing insoles, but aside from that, very pleased with these. The only thing left to determine about this shoe is durability- which could easily make this a 5 star shoe. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: I ordered this shoe thinking it was the follow-on from the Adistar that I used to buy. This shoe is nothing like the old Adistar. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: I've run in the Adistar control for a while...being 6'0" & 215, I need a stable shoe that doesn't feel like wearing a brick...this show does it for me...comfortable & stable, but it feels light. With superfeet inserts, it's been the best I've worn in a long while. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: I Love this shoe. Went to it from the Control 10 b/c the Sequence sucks and I've been very happy. Its so cushioned that running on the roads felt like running on trails for the first 3 weeks. The only problem I've had with them at all is a seam on the inside that rubs a little and gave me a blister, but even that went away once the shoes broke in a little. Other than that no problems and I was able to run in them comfortably right out of the box. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: Great support, cushion, and fit. I'm 5'8" 165 lbs and average 25 miles a week. I highly recommend these shoes. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: I'm 6'3" 230 lbs I first tried the shoe on and felt great nice cushion. I did 4 4 mile runs on the tread mill for the break in period and then went to do a 14 miler and developed blisters on both arches. To bad I really wanted this shoe too work it felt so good until the blisters it was almost there. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: These shoes have converted me to a big Adidas fan. Like others of have posted, these are great out of the box. Rotating between these and the Adidas Tempo- averaging 30 miles per week. Definitely worth a try on- especially at this sale price. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: I needed a shoe w/ a bit more motion control and stability. I was getting shin pain. This shoe offers me great support and more than enough cushioning to support my 5'7" 140 lb frame. Worth taking out for a run! Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: these shoes are simply amazing. it seems that the asymmetry in my stride is corrected by the response in the heel and midfoot. i had ITB syndrome for 2 years and got the adistar control 5 which corrected that, but they were too robust and i got shin splints. now, the salvation has taken care of my itbs and splints. softer heel than the control 5, pretty wide for a normal width, great stability and and smooth stride. 5 stars! Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: I bought this shoe after a long fitting; I love the heel and forefoot cushioning, but the midfoot was much to narrow. After 2 weeks, I switched to another shoe. I wish I didn't develop the blisters on my arches. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: I must concur with the previous reviews. I am 5'11, 200 pounder and these shoes are the replacement I have been searching for to replace my Air Equalon I shoes. It has taken me a year to find this dandy. Comments about Mens adidas adiStar Salvation Running Shoe: This show is excellent for people with orthotics. The heel counter allows the orthotic to fit snug to the back of the shoe without riding forward at all. This replaces my LONG relationship with the Asics 2100 series. I hope future models can keep up with this one. Displaying reviews 1-20 Your Help Is HereShop with confidence knowing your team of Fit Experts is waiting to answer all your questions.
