Placement of traction nub or clete caused a monster blister ( my second largest in 4 decades of running) beginning at the base of the first and second toes starting in first third of a 50 miler, and the shoes are too tight to allow a thicker insole. Careful lacing or shaving the nub might help. Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: I love this shoe. For a change RW have given an award to a real trail shoe. It's got loads of grip, fells low and stable. I could really attack the trails especially the descents. It gave me real confidence and on my first run I knocked a minute off my regular 6 mile loop. No problems with fit or blisters. Pros

Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: This show is excellent but I need a little more support in the arch. Otherwise, it's a perfect racing flat for trails. Excellent grip, and very comfortable

Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: This is my second pair of these shoes. The first pair I bought was for more all terrain running including snow. I found them in Mens size only in the the original store. Within months of wearing them, my then 12 year-old daughter "borrowed" them forever and wore them as cross trainers in gym, indoor softball practice in the winter and running short distances. She happens to be extremely particular when it comes to shoes and how they feel and she obviously loved these.

Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: I've been running in the adiZERO XT 2 for about 4 weeks, 25 trail miles & 10 road miles (during break in). Over the last 10 years I've had about 5 pairs of Adidas trail shoes and almost always train in Adidas road shoes so these were an easy choice for me. In brief, I love the shoes. The most noticeable difference in the XT 2 is the weight. They're the lightest shoe (road or trail) that I've owned in recent memory. I was a bit concerned that they wouldn't have enough protection in the sole but I haven't felt the trail nubs yet. Other reviews stated that the arch support was a little forward and that is true but it hasn't given me any hot spots. The ankle is cut lower than normal for trail shoes and can give you the feeling of being exposed but it didn't take long to get used to it. Tongue holds in place and is gripped well by the laces. Width runs a bit narrow for my wider foot but isn't a problem for me (true for other Adidas trail shoes I've owned). These are definitely a warm weather shoe, vented very well & lighter in weight.

Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: I got this shoe for my 4 weeks at my dad's farm in winter break. All running would be in woods, gaswell roads, field roads and cow pastures with no snow plowing. Had to reorder (way too small) So, order 1.0 size over what you usually have (I usually run in Brooks Glycerin 7,8's). Once size was ok the shoes had superb traction in 8 inches of snow and in sloppy mud, but are still pretty narrow (and I have narrow feet). Comfortable, durable, and light and I recommend them highly for tough conditions, not for road running.
Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: 1st time out in these, grip is awesome... shoe felt tight first couple miles then began to break in...not sure if they are still a bit tight...i usu run in Kayanos Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: Bought these shoes in the States... can't get them in Canada. Have put 30 miles per week on them for 2 months on technical trails. I love them... will be getting another pair before race season. They are narrow, but so are my feet, so I have NO complaints. Just wish I could get them closer to home. Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: My first pair of adizero xt's and the jury is still out. Things I like: very grippy, low to the ground, and nice feel for the trail with ample cushion for lightweight shoe. Still trying to figure out if these are the right shoes for me because: having fairly narrow feet these are still a bit narrow, getting a couple of hotspots but will continue running in to see if things get better. Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: I got these for the Triple Lakes Trail Marathon. They are light, grippy, and comfortable. They are a little narrow, but I have skinny feet so that was fine. I didn't have any problems with them the whole marathon and would purchase them again. Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: Saw these in a shop but came online because the price was better. They are awesome. Hug the foot and the grip is the best I have seen on a trail shoe for a while. You can totally nail your runs. Not for plodders...! Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: I've put 50+ miles on these shoes over technical trails in the first 3 weeks which is my average. Positives: incredible grip, great confidence over technical sections. Cushioning is just OK. Negative: developed a wicked blister on my arch due to the narrow cut of the shoe. I have wide feet. Toe box provides plenty of room, but arch of shoe is to narrow. A very light shoe and would be perfect if the fit was a bit wider, and offered more cushioning throughout the forefoot. Comments about Mens adidas adiZERO XT 2 Trail Running Shoe: I was surprised at this performance of this shoe. I was concerned that being so light and close to the ground that it wouldn't give me the protection from the trails I run on. 10 runs so far and no issues.
