    I was very happy with the Ride 1 and didn't think Adidas should mess with it. Well they did, I guess, but I can't tell the difference...still an excellent "ride" for this 6'4" 195, high arch, narrow foot 30+ miles per week runner. Only complaint, the "split" in the heel sometimes "hangs on" to rocks and sticks that get stuck in the gap...just annoying really. Great shoe overall.

        I run trails more than the road to soften the impact on my aging knees. When I run on the road I wear the adiSTAR Ride 2. The adiSTAR protects my knees better than any other road shoe I've tried in a long time.

              I was very happy with the Ride 1 and didn't think Adidas should mess with it.
