I'm 6'4", 212lbs and run about 60 mi/week. Having run about 1600 miles over various pairs of Salvations, I was keen to try the Salvation 2. Although I haven't weighed them they feel lighter and have good cushioning and stability. Ive now covered about 100mi in the SAlvation 2 I will be happy to stay with the new shoe. As with the first salvation, I still get arch blisters if I don't tape my arches. It doesn't matter which sock, (I've tried them all) or how much body glide I use, I get arch blisters. With tape this is not an issue.

I like this shoe very much. I have searched for a good shoe for running and this is it. I am a heavy pounder and these are the best shoes I've tried in the last couple of years. I thought I would stick with the Nike Equalons but these are the best match for me. I am 6'2" 215lbs and I find these the best shoe for my 35 mile per week running.

As a avid yearly marathoner, I have been through numerous shoes and several brands of cushion, support shoes. The Salvation provided excellent support and pronation protection with great cushioning. The Salvation 2 continues this tradition without tweeking the fit (usually resulting in some injury to me). I strike my heel laterally and pronate but this shoe helps me through and protects. You may hear more on gel cushions and air cushions, but the Adidas system works great and the shoes hold up very well with 15-20 mile training runs.

REally like the shoe. Not quite as good as the addistar, but much better than Gel Kayano.

The stitching on the medial foot was irritating until I had worn the shoe for about 50 miles. I do, however, prefer to run without socks.

While I am a big fan of adidas, I find this shoe to be a little on the heavy side. The stability is excellent and I prefer this shoe for road running.

The shoe provides effective pronation control as advertised. It will require 1 or 2 runs for brake-in and after that feel very comfortable.

Never in my years of running, have I ever found a company that makes the absolute best motion control shoes on the market! I have worn the Supernova control 5, 10 the adifusion MC and now the Salvation. If all of these above shoes were $1,000, I'd still buy them. Keep em' coming Adidas!

I trained for and ran two marathons in my previous pair of Salvations. They wore incredibly well and I still use them for short runs. I've had the Salvation II for a month of running now as I prepare for my next marathon and it's truly a perfect sequel. It's light, comfortable, fits my narrow feet, and based on my original Salvations, should prove to be very durable.
