      I just got the new Sequence 4 and comparing it to the Sequence 3 I don't really feel much change. That is necessarily a bad thing, just not sure what has been changed to make it a new model. I'm sure there are some design changes and the shoe bottom is slightly different, but the quality of fit is the same.I love the feel of the Sequence 4 just as much as my Sequence 3's.

      The arch is what I would consider moderate...just enough extra support without being extra high (not as high as the Supernova Adapt which I also have). There is plenty of room in the toe area and the heel seems to keep the shoe firmly on my feet. The tongue stays in place as it should. I always order the Adidas shoes in my exact size and the fit perfectly. I don't know why they always recommend you order a half size bigger.

      The only color available right now is this gray/purple. I prefer white shoes with accents so it is a bit dark for my taste. I looks more like a trail running shoe as far as color if that matters to anyone. I guess it won't get dirty so fast. Just another thing to mention, mine came with orange and purple colored shoestrings so they are fairly flashy!

      Overall if you like the Sequence 3 you will like the Sequence 4. For me they are the best fitting shoes for my feet. After trying many brands I find the Adidas control shoes to be very comfortable and long lasting.

        I run approximately 35 miles per week and these shoes are great. They offer good support, but do not feel too heavy. I've been wearing the Sequence for several months now (on my third pair) and really like them.

        I bought these to replace my Sequence 3 shoes. Background on the S3, I only got about 400 miles on them before they started breaking down and I started having foot pain, but, the shoe was cushy and I liked it, so I tried the S4. That said, the S4 is also cushy with ZERO break in period, I wore them for one week before running a marathon in them! I'm not sure if I got the wrong shoe type for me (I have a high arch) but with this shoe I started experience a lot more foot pain (arch and heel). I am now switching to the Asics Cumulus, so we'll see.
