Used this shoe right out of the box to pass a physical assessment for my job. I ran 1 second faster in the 300 meter run, and 33 sec. faster in the 1.5 mile. Comfortable, good fit, even though I am a heavy runner, 172 lbs. I also use this shoe for training at the track field...excellent traction!

I love this shoe! I was so sad when the Gel Lite was discontinued, but this shoe surpasses it. It's very light weight and breathable. Great for racing, but defintely not enough cushioning to use as a training shoe.

I had the Gel Speedstar ...blue ones and upgrated to the II Version. They are not true to fit. I needed at least 1/2 size larger than others.

Love this shoe! Very comfortable and fast for racing. Ran a half-ironman in it and was able to run 45 sec per mile faster than my previous one. Felt like I was weightless. 5'6", 120 pounds. Not enough cushioning to use as a trainer, but excellent for racing.

I have been disapointed with the speedstars, I much prefer my old orange gel-flashes. And I keep getting more of those. I've had 3 pairs, and I just ordered 2 more. How can they make a plain white shoe?
