I also liked the previous model. I have narrow feet and found them to be swimming in the shoe. Heel slippage is my #1 complaint. If they'd change it back to how the previous model was then I'd buy it again. Sorry ASICS let me down and I probably won't buy anymore again.

Not a great shoe, when compared with the foundatin VI. The fit is not as good -- will not buy again. Previous model much better.

not the best shoes for low arches, i got shin splints very badly and i got a blister on the top of one of my toes for some reason, i would not recommend these to people with low arches

I have low arches, feet of average width and custom orthotics, and this shoe worked much better for me than the Gel Kayano. My orthotic fits great in the B width of this shoe (I had to buy a D width in the Kayano which did not work so well), and the stability is excellent. With the Kayano, I had blister and heel slip problems - I have none of that with this shoe. I'd give it 5 stars, but I wish it had a more padding in the forefoot. If you're running on a rough surface (dirt road with rocks, trails) you tend to feel every pebble in the forefoot of the shoe, which can make for tender feet at the end of 10 miles.

Love this shoe! I was having problems with my knee (mostly due to overpronation), and this shoe has helped immensely. Plus, I love the fit -- it cradles and supports without being too tight or too heavy.

I have run 6 marathons and log 28-30 miles per week. I have relied on Asics to keep the "tires" comfortable and it has yet to fail or let me down. It's the shoe that I use and would recommend it to others with querky flat feet.

Like the prior version better. I have problems w/heel slippage and the VI was a much better fit than this version. Won't buy this one again as it's not as comfortable as the prior model.

I was so happy with these shoes. It is sometimes hard to find a good shoes for people with low arches. This shoes has the right support and comfort for my training. ASICS RULE !!!!

This shoe felt heavy, bulky, and unflexible to me. (I like shoes that fit a bit more like a sock). I'm not sure why, but I started to get a blister on top of one of my toes and shin splints after just 3 miles in these shoes! Just not right for me.

I'M 5ft.1 in. 124 lbs. small foot. the only thing I find wrong with this shoe is the toe box is to wide. I've only put about 30 miles on it, but it is the best running shoe I've worn.

The upper was much less supportive than the old Foundation. After 50 miles or so, the upper was so loose and my foot slipped and I had a lot of knee pain as a result. I love the Foundation VI, but this is nothing like it. I sized up 1/2-size. Toe box is weird, too.

I wore Foundation in the past and loved it but this has much less support. Doesn't feel like motion control when you're running. Reminds me of the 2100. Will not buy it again.

I LOVE these shoes! I wore the NB 1220 prior and could not find another in my size. I usually go for the stability shoes but this is a good hybrid of Motion control and stability. I wear CUSH inserts with them so I cannot speak to the cushion with the original but they are great for me and true to size. I will order several to keep and rotate in.

I bought these shoes to replace my evolution 2. This model offers less support, I started feeling pain in my calves after my first long run. I won't buy it again
