Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Speedstar 3 Running Shoe: I love this shoe. I wish that it was not being discontinued, but it has been amazing shoe. My speedwork has improved with this even after putting over 100 miles on the shoe. It's a must buy!

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Speedstar 3 Running Shoe: I have already owned five pairs of this shoe and have been in love with them since my first run wearing these asics. My previous asics felt large and heavy compared to this light and fast design. I have been wearing this shoe almost everyday for over a year now to either run outside, on the treadmill, crosstrain, or race. This shoe made me become a devoted asics fan and I am disappointed to see it leave the market.

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Speedstar 3 Running Shoe: Had to buy a FULL size up for running (vs 1/2). I used these during mid-distance runs (<10 mi) while training for a marathon and LOVED them. These are lightweight, speedy shoes as per their design. Beyond 10 mi will not provide the type of support and cushioning necessary. I'm buying another pair, especially at the reduced price.

I was planning on buying new shoes today when i saw the endangered thing, and i'm praying they have my size when i go in! Best shoe ever! Super light and amazing fit!
Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Speedstar 3 Running Shoe: Terrific lightweight running shoe. I was skeptical of the cushioning since these are billed as being so lightweight, and there are at least no visible huge gel cushions. I will say these absorb a lof of shock. I train on a treadmill, and I was duly impressed with the shock-absorbing abilities of these shoes. I can run intervals and keep these on for a combined training session, and they're light enough to not serve as accidental ankle weights. Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Speedstar 3 Running Shoe: I loved the original Speedstar, even though they were too big and sloppy on my feet. I did long, hard , hilly fast runs and races in them with no problems. I think The II, ran smaller but I did go down a half size in each pair of the II. so those were tighter, than eventually felt too small. Maybe it is just me...swelling do to thyroid problems. Now the III, is real loose again. Went back up that 1/2 size on the III. On my second pair of the III and thinking of going back down a 1/2 size. I noticed that I am feeling more rocks and sore feet after going over 5 miles in hills on the trails. But they definately feel cushier than the II. My feet hurt after training 4+ miles in this shoe. Forefoot is a little "flat". I also preferred the funky tread of the Speedstar-2 in wet or icy conditions; although it wore down fast.
