Reviewed by 7 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-7 Comments about ASICS GEL-Hyper Speed 3 Racing Shoe: first racing flat - i've done half-ironman in them with no problems - routinely run 1 - 1.5 hrs with no socks and no problems. i switched from ds-trainer and newtons as i sought a more "barefoot" approach - no knee pain, etc. will continue to use a minimalist approach. highly recommend these shoes. Comments about ASICS GEL-Hyper Speed 3 Racing Shoe: Ran a personal best 26.2 miles, no socks, after switching from the DS Trainer at 60 miles a week and training 5 miles a week w/ Nike Free - no socks. Keep it Movin'! Comments about ASICS GEL-Hyper Speed 3 Racing Shoe: Just recently purchased it and did several track workouts with them, and they are great. I have the older model and I'm sure the newer model is great too. Ran a full marathon in them. Lightweight but with good support.
