Comments about Mens ASICS GEL-1150 Running Shoe:

My primary usage comes from road and indoor track running sessions from 3 to 10 miles. I'm a midfoot striker with 1 neutral foot and 1 which slightly overpronates. These have become my go to lightweight training shoe. Unlike the previous model 1140, these hardly feel like a stability shoe when I wear them. They feel like a good lightweight, flexible cushioned neutral shoe but they function like a good mild stability shoe. Great blend of cushioning comfort and responsive transition. Great fit too.

Comments about Mens ASICS GEL-1150 Running Shoe:

I just got back from a workout wearing these shoes- brand new. The shoes were used indoor on a treadmill, elliptical machine and stationary bike. My initial response tended to focus on the lightness and soft step that the shoe offered but I was really taken back with the way the shoe "grips" the foot, it was a great fit and offered nice mid support for a tall guy with previous back issues. The heel gel padding was another great aspect. Great shoe for the money.

Comments about Mens ASICS GEL-1150 Running Shoe:

I have been running in the neutral shoes (Cumulus, Pulse, Landreth) for years. They have all gone quite mushy for me. And they're all quite wide in the toe box. The 1150's are the perfect combination of cushioning with a moderate amount of stability for me. I'm 5'11" and 160 lbs. I run 15-20 miles per week. The 1150 has great energy return and arch support. I a big fan of Speva technology over Solyte. I got shin splints with the shoes that have Solyte technology. The neutral shoes are much softer and don't have the energy return of the 1150's. I highly recommend them for neutral to moderate pronators with a average to a little above average forefoot width and average to high arches.

Comments about Mens ASICS GEL-1150 Running Shoe:

This shoe fits properly for the size. The 2150 and kayano fit larger than allthe other asics shoes so my standard 10.5 is a bit too big causing blisters on the inside edge of the heels. The 10 is ok but not great but the 1050 is what the 2000 series used to be; great cushion some support that doesn't get in the way and a very smooth ride. The midfoot trustic isn't overly rigid as the 2150can tend to be. The sizing is spot on in 10.5..no blisters on my heel none of the bit too big/small. Asics PLEASE size the kayano and 2160 next year like this shoe!

Comments about Mens ASICS GEL-1150 Running Shoe:

just wanted to say I had another chance to try these on and my first impression that these might run a little shorter than prior models was mistaken, as the sizing seems to fit the same. That...and to wonder how that anonymous poster could possibly claim these are "stiff as a board", since to me these seem to be quite well-cushioned. Makes me think that guy was maybe a much heavier runner who bottomed out the cushioning...and that at 155 lbs. maybe I'm closer to the target customer for this shoe...

I have only tried these on in the store, but just wanted to comment that it seems to me these MIGHT fit a 1/2 size shorter than the 1130/1140 did. Anyone else agree with this? Pretty damn good shoe for the money it seems for this 155 pounder...nice cush, arch support, and flexibility..at least while jogging around the local Sports Authority. Didn't purchase because they didn't carry the width I need..but I have a feeling I will..
