I run daily for over 35 years now. I always use Asic shoes. I had the 3010 and liked those (except for the hole in the mesh by my toe)so I opted to get the 3020 this year. I am equally pleased. They dry overnight too so I can use them every day. I do need orthodics super feet for additional arch support now that I'm aging!!!

I use the show for running. I have been wearing the 3010 for a couple of years and really liked the show. I always hate when the shoe is updated and try to find them in the "Classic" section. I purchased the 3020 and ran a few short runs. They felt great so I decided to wear them during my half-ironman event. I had no problem with them and felt great afterwards. Impressed

I was fighting heel pain due to plantar fasciitis for a few months. I purchased this shoe 2 weeks before a marathon in attempt of a little relief. Not only did I get through the marathon, my foot is now pain-free! Very comfortable, supportive shoe.

This is the 3rd pair of 3000 series Asics that I've bought in the last couple of years. I started out with the 1000 series and after I decided I needed something more stabilizing, I went to the Asics-3000.Last year, I thought I'd go slightly "higher end" and gambled with the Kayano 15. For me, the fit just wasn't as good and the lacing system felt strange. So, in March '10 I went back to old faithful and picked up the 3010. I've used them about 400-500 miles and they have just now started wearing out. So I picked up the newer model, Asics 3020 [...]. This series is terrific, right out of the box. No need to break them in. If you're an over-pronater and like to run, but also cross train, this is the shoe for you. Worth every penny!

I am currently training for a marathon(run about 25-35 miles a week). I switched into these from the Kayano 16(didn't like lacing system).I have trouble with my knees and am a moderate pronator so I have to have a stability shoe. I use an insole in my shoes also. I really have no complaints about this shoe.

Wore the 3010s for the past year, moved up to these when those started to wear out. So far, very similar fit. Ran several workouts in these already with no blisters or issues.

Hey let's face it, fitness is not just about running anymore, it's about versatility. We're on the road, in the gym, and doing a multitude of different movements and we all can't have 10 pairs of shoes unless we have a company endorsing us. I am a fitness instructor and runner, but use running shoes for both because I honestly can't find a Xtrainer that can stand up to my grueling workouts. I also need a shoe that isn't going to slide all over the floor--Asics are IT! Talk about versatility, support, and cushioning! Just ordered my third pair of 3020s and it's the only one I'm not completely satisfied with...so much flexibility that it felt like there was less support in the forefoot. So I'm trading them for another just to make sure. You can't go wrong with Asics:)

I love Asics shoes and these did not disappoint. Plus, I bought them with an extra discount that RRS offered on April Fools Day. So, with my VIP discount and the extra 5% discount, they were very affordable.
The cushioning is the best. I am a road walker and even feels great after a long walk of 13 miles or more. I always wear an insert orthotic which fit well in this shoe.
I can't find any cons for this shoe.

I work on my feet all day and my shoulders use to get very tense when I wore regular shoes with no arch support. I bought the ASICS with high arch support to fit my arch and now I do not have pain or tenseness in my back or shoulders. It's amazing what the correct shoe can do to alleviate so much discomfort!

I run about 10 to 12 miles per week mostly on a tredmill. I have always worn the Asics 2150 line but have noticed that they wear out quite quickly. Decided to try the 3020s instead this time. Have been running in them for 2 weeks and have found them to be super supportive and cushioned from day one. Have been nursing a hamstring injury that has now nearly healed. I normally wear an orthotic to control pronation but have not needed it with these shoes. I love Asics because they are the only shoe I have found that provides the stability that I need in a wide width. Have been an Asics user for over 10 years and they just keep getting better and better!

I have been a Saucony girl for years...I tried these out because they were on sale and I fell in love with them. I would definitely recommend them...As an additional note, I've had foot problems for years and I don't seem to have those same problems with these shoes.

I run 20-30 miles a week, and I am very impressed with this shoe. I usually run in the Kayano or the 2100 series. The 3020 is the best blend of the two shoes possible. It has good cushioning and support. The toe box is not too confining. The ride is smooth with good transition from heel to toe. I love it!

I am recovering from IT band injury. I tried on several shoes in store and by far this felt the most comfortable, true fit for my foot. A well designed shoe. Note: The reason I selected a half size too small, is that I wear a 7.5 street shoe and bought a full size up 8.5 in the Asics (true for most running shoes I buy.)

I trained in the 3010's for my last marathon and loved them. The gel in the heel is very cushy on heel strike and was great on my long runs. I am on my second pair of these and I love them! just wish they chose different colors this year.

I love these shoes. I have high arches and they still fit great without orthotics or even with orthotics. They absorb shock very well.

5'4" 128 pound runner who needs a stability shoe - average 50-60 miles per week - this shoe works the best for me. The Asics 2150 series wasn't enough for me and the Kayano series wasn't working either. I was introduced to the Asics Gel 3020s and they have been my go-to shoe now for over a year.

My feet don't hurt after long runs in these. I have always had issues with callouses under and on the side of my big toe. I would still do my long runs but this area would feel raw afterwards. This shoe eliminates this problem! They are also well cushioned and supportive and come in wide sizes. Love these!
