Shoes are well made and fit well. They provide good cushioning and support. As I've had to do with most running shoes, I removed the arch supports and replaced them with better ones. Other than not having really good arch supports, the shoes are great.

For years I've bought and tried different shoes. Kayanos, Adiddas, Nike, and all did not fit well for my low arch until I did my research and came across these. I know this is bad but I ran in them for my first marathon and I had no injury and my run was smooth like butter. So smooth I now have several new pairs waiting to be use. I highly recommend if you have low arch. These are what I use for my triathlon races, both Sprint and Full.

I have been running in Gel Evolutions for the past 5 years and when the 6 came out they didn't feel right. I have always been told the foundation is a close competitor. I ordered them and when I put them on they felt very comfortable. I was skeptical since I am familiar with the Evolutions. I can honestly say they felt great from the first run and 30 miles later are feeling great. [...]I would definitly recommend this shoe to any overperonator.Ed

I use orthotics with this shoe and have relied on Asics Foundation series shoe for many years. It is sturdy, durable and reliable. I usually get about 500 miles on a pair before they are worn out.
If you need a shoe for pronation control, or need a wide toe box, this is a good shoe choice.

This shoe is excellent for runners who need extra stability. I switched from other lighter models that seemed comfortable at first, but left me with more foot and knee soreness. I find that the slightly greater weight doesn't matter at all. I've run 2 marathons and 3 half-marathons in this model and now I'm on my sixth pair. The sizing guidelines recommend getting them a half size larger than normal, and that works for me. Most of my shoes are snug at size 13, but I buy these in a 14, and they are perfect.

This is a terrific pronation-control shoe. In fact, it's good enough for walkers to use without orthotics or inserts. Considering the cost of custom inserts -- and insurance companies' unwillingness to finance replacements -- that translates into real money and preserves your orthotics for more serious stresses.
Some people complain about durability, but a pronation-control shoe contends with major biomechanical forces. By definition, they're going to break down. I replace them every year and consider it a bargain for fixing my bad foot-strike.

Awesome. This was recommended to me by an avid runner. Extremely comfortable. I am 6' 240 with a stocky athletic build. I am also an extreme over pronator. This shoes provides the right amount of motion control while being lightweight and comfortable. I am definitely buying another pair before they stop making these.

I have little to no arch on my feet and I am therefore very sensitive to new shoes and sneakers. The moment I tried these shoes on at the store, I knew these were the perfect pair. It took me one day of running for my feet to adjust and it's been great ever since. I've been running in these on avg 4 days a week for about 2 months now and these are the best running shoes that I ever owned. They are light and extremely comfortable. I absolutely love them! I'm almost tempted to buy another pair in fear of not being able to buy another pair again.

Like a previous entry, I am 6'0" 240 lbs. Formerly I ran in the Brooks Beast, which is STILL a great, sturdy, long-lasting motion-control shoe BUT this is a great lightweight alternative with more cushioning. The shoe wore out faster than I expected, but it gave me 3 good months of slow, long distances. I trained for a half-marathon in these shoes, and they were comfortable and wore very well. I chose this shoe due to a Runner's World recommendation and it lived up to it.

I love the shoe. I have low arches and the shoe really helps with stability. Believe the site when it says to go a half size up - the shoe fit perfect. If I went with my typical shoe size, the shoe would be too small and tight.

The added toe room allowed me to go from a width size of 4e to a 2e. This shoe really feels like it follows the shape of my foot allowing for superior comfort. You really need to try it!

Great shoe, especially for me, a beginner. I have a slight overpronation and was told about the foundation. This was my first real running shoe. Decided to wait until the update was out. Well worth it. It arrived yesterday. I've always been athletic off and on working out. Starting to run/walk and get into it. This shoe is great, feels great and is light weight. Look forward to many miles.

This is my first official running shoe. I'm getting into running/walking. I've always worked out off and on, walked and generally athletic. Just got these yesterday. So far, so good. I was told to get a foundation 8, however, I waited for this one to come out. Feels great on my feet and is a good fit. Very snug. Always thought I had a wide foot, not so, just a wide forefoot. This shoe has a wide toe box and fits great. No slipping in the heel. Good bounce in the step.
