Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: I wanted a pair of runners I could wear to the gym for cardio-treadmill, stairmill...and hit the road with...these are fantastic...In the past I haven't been a big Asics fan...I have narrow feet and found my foot sliding around too much...well...I think these were made for a womens' feet...the fit is snug-I'm sure they'll stretch alittle. They have more lateral support and are super cushioned yet light especially in comparison to my trail runners...They get an A plus from me for comfort cushioning & color-I hate white sneaks...lol.

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: This is the best pair of running shoes I have bought to date! I have always been an Asics fan and have gone by the shoe guide through this website. I had a horrible experience with my previous pair of Asics (ASICS Women's GEL-Pulse 3) with awful blisters on my arches (inside by my heal - I have a high arch). I wanted to try one more pair and I am SO glad I did. I LOVE these and will definitely be getting another pair when I reach the millage on these.

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: I use the shoe for walking and running. I have a very high arch so am always looking for good arch support. This shoe provides great support. I wear a women's size 11. It Iis difficult for me to find a good fit in that size that isn't sloppy around my toes. This shoe fits great and is not sloppy on the toes.

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: I am a gray-haired runner who appreciates the cushioning in a NEUTRAL shoe that will also flex. I wait until I have lived in the shoes before rating them. I like that these held up and seemed to bounce back to full cushioning with a day or 2 off for them (rotated with Mizuna's) They have lasted "like new" for over 300 miles. They do not lock my fore foot into any position and work well for me -- but I admit I am not as strong in my push off as a younger runner might be. Just wish the new ones weren't such ugly colors.

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: I was an avid 260TR lover until Asics discontinued the shoe. The 260TR was a great run/walk shoe as well as a cross trainer. I don't believe Asics has another shoe like it on the market. I developed severe extensor/flexor tendonitis from cross training in my Asics Cumulus shoes so I decided to try the Excel 33's to wear when I workout with my trainer and TRX classes. I just purchased the Asics Nimbus 14 for run/walking (the next generation cumulus had horrible reviews). It has been 2 weeks and I like the Excel 33's. I don't think I would even try to run in them, but like them for my intense training sessions and TRX. I wear an 8 1/2 in my running shoes and bought these in an 8.

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: I'm a long time runner; these days I mostly do trail races and ultras but because of where I live, I wind up putting in a lot of road miles during training. I have very high arches, and decided to give these shoes a go based on RRS's recommendation (Shoe Dog) and the reviews here.

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: I ordered these in the blue/black. I am an 8.5 in a regular shoe. I usually get a 9 in running shoes to have room. The 9 in this shoe was super tight, super short, and the laces were not long enough to tie!
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: First, I am a long time runner logging about 30 miles a week. I think ASICS missed the mark on this shoe. I am a mid to forefoot striker. This shoe did not work for me. There is a hard piece of plastic under the arch of the foot. The shoe feels alright on the flat, but when you are heading up hill or any time you need to be on your toes, the shoe does not flex, causing the back heel to just slip up and down. This is also a narrow toebox for ASICS, not what I expected. I also think there is stability in this shoe. A few runs in and I feel my IT band tweaking. For me, that usually means I am running in a non-neutral shoe.

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: I have tried so many running shoes and this one has hit the spot, I have purchased 3 pairs just in case I can't get them in the future.

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: I was excited to receive this show, but unfortunately I'll have to bring it back. I always order my running shoes half size up, but this shoe seems like a full size too small for me and very narrow. I did take it for a spin and liked the cushioned impact, but it felt uncomfortable due to being too small. I hope that once I am able to exchange for a size up I will be able to give the shoe 5 stars.

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: Went from the Ghost 3's to these! So far so good. Had to go up 10 a size 10. Width seemed to narrow compared to the ghost. I measure a womens 9 and always wear a 9.5 in runners ...these I wen to a 10. Time will tell!
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: Very lightweight, well cushioned, and true to size. I LOVE these shoes! I'm coming back from a stress reaction of the tibia, and feel these shoes are cushioned enough to protect me.

Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Excel33 Running Shoe: I run up to 20 miles/week and always used Asics. Their stability is the best for my feet. The last few Gel Kayanos 17 and 18 are just too tight in the toe bed. My toes get numb. : (
