Shoe is low on cushion. Sole makes a weird sound when I walk like stretching a piece of rubber. Not recommended for running and not what I would expect from asics

Bought based on other site reviews on how good these were for heavier runners (5'11, 190, 12-18 mi/wk). The shoe is noticeably heavier than the Gel Cumulus 9's they replaced, and much less cushion. Acceptable, but not Asics' best work.
