Comments about Mens Brooks Addiction 7 Running Shoe:

Very good shoe. I am 6'2", medium arch, 200#. I have run in the Addictions for the past three years without problems. I get 250-300 miles/pair and ran the Portland Marathon in them quite comfortably. Only improvement I'd suggest is a bit more cushioning in the forefoot.

Comments about Mens Brooks Addiction 7 Running Shoe:

Finally! After running for over a year now I have gone through 3 shoes with little luck. I have flat feet and started out weighing 210lbs. I tried the NB 1010 (good but heavy), Asics Foundation 6 (good but little cushion)and the Nike Equalon (horrible-blisters). The Addiction 7 is a perfect combination of support, control and cushion. After losing over 45lbs. and a year of training I am planning on running my first 1/2 marathon in these. The second time out in these I ran 12miles and they felt great. 3 weeks later still going strong. Thanks Brooks!

Comments about Mens Brooks Addiction 7 Running Shoe:

The Addiction is very aptly Named. This shoe has me hooked after just a week of use. I'm probably slightly heavier than average (about 205 at the moment) have completely flat feet and severely overpronate. I have never been able to run more than a mile and a half or so without foot, ankle, knee and back pain forcing me to quit and limp home, even with orthotics. First time out in these I took a nice two mile run and felt fantastic. None of the usual pain at all. Obviously 2 miles is not exactly the Boston Marathon, but considering my history its a big deal to me. Almost exclusively because of these shoes I've been able to finally begin to run seriously and am running my first 10k in the summer.

Comments about Mens Brooks Addiction 7 Running Shoe:

Incredibly comfortable. The cushioning is firm, just the way I like it. The shoes hold my feet in place and, after a few miles, seem to disappear and let me forget about my feet. Best shoes on the road since Adidas stopped making Cairos.

Comments about Mens Brooks Addiction 7 Running Shoe:

I've been wearing stability shoes for years. Everyone kept telling me that I didn't need motion control shoes since I had a medium to small frame. However, since I've been battling ITBS for 2 years now, I decided to give the Addiction 7s a try. I haven't had any problems with ITBS since the switch. These shoes give a smooth ride, great guidance through each stride and good cushioning.

Comments about Mens Brooks Addiction 7 Running Shoe:

I love this shoe. I am about to buy a second pair!!!I am a flat-footed runer with horrible over-pronation. Before I found this shoe I couldn't run for very long without some part of my knees and leg hurting. Now I am running pain-free and reaching distances I have only dreamed of before this shoe.

Comments about Mens Brooks Addiction 7 Running Shoe:

Before being fitted for this shoe, I wore the New Balance 857's, a high stability shoe which served me well for 500 miles or so. However, I started to get some knee pain and some shin splint-like pain and felt it was time for a new pair of shoes.
This is the second motion control shoe that I have worn. As a running newbie (I have only been running regularly for about 6 months), I can only really compare it to the NB 857 and the Asics Foundation that I ran in for one day. One of the things that I noticed is that the shoe is significantly stiffer in the heel area than my previous shoes. My guess is that this is common among motion control shoes. However, once I started running, the shoe felt like it became less stiff and had plenty of give. More importantly, me knees, legs and feet feel really good after my runs. As an overpronator with relatively flat feet who averages 25-30 miles a week, this shoe has been perfect.
As mentioned above, the first motion control shoe I tried was th

I trust this shoe most of all. I have 2 pr. of Saucony Grid Stabil MC 5's and 1 pr. of the Brooks Addiction 7 that I run in currently. For runs over 12 miles, this shoe can't be beat for comfort and function. This shoe makes the footstrike more comfortable with tired calves.

Comments about Mens Brooks Addiction 7 Running Shoe:

I love this shoe. I used to wear the GEL-Foundation,5 years, but I have switched over to This ammazing running shoe (Brooks Adiction 7). This was my second choice and I really didn't want it. So I took it for a run and I was HOOKED. This shoes is so comfortable, I can't believe it!! It feels like I'm walking on air. There's a spring in my step for every mile. They are wonderful, I don't want to take them OFF!!!! If anyone is cwearing the GEL Foundation I would recommend you switch over to this running shoe (Brooks Addiction 7) Your feet will thanks you!! Another plus is the neutral color (grey, black ,white) it can blend with whatever you are wearing so you don't have to look like you're wearing clown shoes(unlike some Asics styles which are very brightly colored i.e. Evolution) for those persons who wear the larger sizes. I highly recommend this running shoe. It is EXCELLENT !!!!!
