The new, narrower toebox is a complete disaster for me. The Addiction 4E was always my favorite shoe. Largely because Brooks seemed to understand that flat-footed people often need a wide toe. Well, like most good things in life, Brooks abruptly stopped understanding. I can't be crippling my big toe

I was wearing ASICS and I got ITB inflamation then I switched to these and I have been injury free ever since. Great shoes. I'm 5'7 140 and have been runnning since high school. I got ITB inflamation about 10 years ago but cured it with a few months rest and switching shoes.
