My pair was a "once worn" closeout in the San Diego clearance center and sold for $62. Fits perfectly, excellent toebox, comfortable. My feet are much cooler (mesh fabric really breathes well - I can feel the wind blowing in). A slight ankle pain I was having with some Nikes cleared right up with these. I'm 5'9" and 169 lbs. Very pleased. Comments about Mens Brooks Axiom 3 Running Shoe: Excellent fit; firm midsole and minimal cushioning makes it the perfect shoe for a fast paced training run. Comments about Mens Brooks Axiom 3 Running Shoe: my foot type is different than most so i was looking for a shoe with great cushioning on the forefoot and these shows were not it, especially not for distance running the bottom sole started to ware out in less than a month... Comments about Mens Brooks Axiom 3 Running Shoe: I'm 5'9", 175 lbs, and log about 30 miles weekly. Comments about Mens Brooks Axiom 3 Running Shoe: Good cushioning; sufficient support. The tongue is way short however and the lacing configuration puts too much pressure on my instep which causes tendonitis. I've tried various lacing patterns and just cannot wear this shoe. Comments about Mens Brooks Axiom 3 Running Shoe: I'm 5'8",165 lbs. The fit is outstanding; wide toe box and snug heel. Very supportive and midsole is firm. It needs more cushion. Comments about Mens Brooks Axiom 3 Running Shoe: I love the Axiom 3! I am 5'9", 165 lb. with very low arches. Finding a lightweight, low arch shoe is a challenge. The Axiom 3 has it all: lightweight, great cushion, excellent toe-off, and good stability for over-pronators like me. Right out of the box I was able to run fast without thinking about my feet. My 3rd run with the Axiom 3 was a 4 miler which I had a PR of 23:35. I used to prefer New Balance because of my low arhes, but the Axiom 3 is a much softer and quicker shoe. Comments about Mens Brooks Axiom 3 Running Shoe: I loved the Axiom 2 and was disappointed when I found out it had been discontinued. After a week of running in the Axiom 3 I like this shoe even more. The shoe fits the same as the Axiom 2 but feels better with the extra cushioning. Comments about Mens Brooks Axiom 3 Running Shoe: i love the axiom 2 and i love this shoe sjut as much.these shoes are the only trainers i've run in that haven't given me problems. i am 130lbs and about 5'10 with a flat foot and little over=pronation.this shoe is amazing.
