Cons Best Uses Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: Right out of the box I ran 9 miles in these shoes without a hitch. Very comfortable and lightweight. Lots of cushion in these things. I always seem to need a half size larger in Brooks so consider that if this is your first pair of Brooks. Pros

Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever run in. Right out of the box I was able to go out for long runs. Ran a half marathon in them less than a week after purchase. Very durable, light weight, and comfortable shoes. Can't beat them for my medium-to-high arch feet! Just traded them in for the Ravenna 2, hopefully they are just as good.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: Recommended by the staff...tried half a dozen different shoes in the store before deciding on these. I've had pain in the knees, shins, IT band, and achillies... no issues now that I've added dynamic stretches and running in these shoes. I run around 4 miles 3-4 times a week at around an 8 min pace and these shoes are great!

Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: Great stability shoe, I used my ravenna on faster marathon tempo runs.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: I use the Ravenna as my regular running shoe mostly for easy runs with the occasional tempo or easy trail runs. The shoe is a perfect snug fit, lightweight, and durable. I racked up 640 miles on my first pair with no issues! I run 5-7 times per week. I currently own two pairs of the Ravennas (different colors) and swap them out daily for even longer life.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: I am a muscular 5'4" at 155 lbs with flat feet. I have been using the Asics 2100 series for the past 5 years because of the great stablility/cushion combo they offer. Though, for some time now I've been searching for a stability shoe that was less clunky and didn't scream "high maintenance" with its appearance. The asics DS trainer proved to be a nice alternative but I needed more stability and a bit more cushion for longer distances. Along comes the Ravenna and, wow! This shoe is like running on pillows without sacrificing stability. This shoe just feels fast (even for a clunker like me) and looks great. As long as Brooks sticks to this formula, I won't be changing shoes anytime soon. Hope they come out with a predominantly black version of this shoe. Also, a size 9 fits like the asics gt 2130 fit in a size 8 1/2.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: Love this shoe. Used to use Saucony Guide 2's and this is a great replacement. Put over 300 miles on my first pair, probably could have gone more. Great for high arch and pronation control. I'm a bigger runner 6'1" 195 and these have proven to work great. I also use a pair of orthotics in these shoes and they accommodate them just fine.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: I bought these hoes and immediately ran a 16 miler the next day, i was a little worried about such a long run on a new pair of shoes but was very pleased at the end of my run. i was in Aasics Nimbus 11 byut was having some arch pain. These shoes appear to have a great cushioned ride and still have good support. They were suprisingly light and fast. Would be ( will buy) them again!

Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: I'm a average runner who runs to stay in shape after few years of being lazy. Gained weighted and needed something comfortable and light to get me started. Tried several brands but brooks was the best fit for me. This shoe has helped me start enjoying running again. I'm Looking forward for my second pair to come in!

Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: These are terrific; lightweight, and with enough stability. I use them for "fast" workouts, and 10k races, but expect to wear them in a marathon later this year.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: I was an Adidas snob for years, but my local running store recommend that I try this shoe. I'm glad I did! This is a fantastic running shoe, even for a big guy (200 Lbs+). Great cushioning, great support, and lightweight.
Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: I am a 145 lbs 5' 10" runner who needs stability shoes. I purchased a pair about a week ago and I ran an 8 mile tempo, 8 miles of track work and a 20 mile run in them. I wanted to see how the shoes responded to different runner pace. I had no problem with them. I am planning on using my pair for a fall marathon. Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: Returning this shoe. I've worn the Infiniti with a lot of success, but was interested in the Ravenna as a lighter option. I don't like the lacing system, it leaves the mid-foot loose even if the other parts are tight. The ride is decent, but the curved last cased my outside toes to come up against the end/side and fall asleep - even though the shoe was almost on the big side. Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: very solid, basic shoe. replaced my saucony progrid guides after they changed the upper too much for the 2's. very similar idea from brooks here, just a little bit more trimmed down, with a lighter weight and less of a heel and smaller forefoot surface area. almost half way between my DS trainers and my guides. i have noticed these have a good amount more forefoot cushioning than the guides did, which seemed to focus on heel cushioning and i would finish long runs with some forefoot pain. so far only thing i don't like is the upper materials, not stretchy and form-fitting as i would like, but they do their job for a $100 trainer. Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: Excellent lightweight trainer. I loved the Axiom 1 & 2, but not the 3. This shoe is a bit more substantial than the Axiom. Very comfortable right out of the box and noticeable forefoot cushioning. No issues at all on the long runs. Great shoe! I will stick with them. Comments about Mens Brooks Ravenna Running Shoe: Nice lightweight training shoe, have run over 150 miles in my first pair with long runs up to 15 miles with no problems. Replaced Saucony Paramonts and like these much better. Great fit, snug around midfoot and not overlarge toebox. Would not call a heavy stability shoe, but those with mild pronation who need minimal correction may like this shoe (I currently rotate with Brooks Ghosts). Have already ordered a second pair.
