Had no problems running at all. Ive worn Nike's before and just HATE them after wearing the Wave Precision 7's. I also wasnt one who could run on treadmills and with these shoes I had no problem I liked it. GREAT SHOES!!!!!! I love these shoes. They're light, but cushion well. My pair with 300+ miles feel the same as my pair with 10 miles! They wear great and hold up well. I have worn the Wave Precision for years and loved them until this version. I agree with the poster who said this is the most uncomfortable shoe they've ever worn. I hate them. Bring back the old model! I've worn these shoes exclusively for the past few years. I love them because they are light and breathe well in the summer. I am not a fan of the insole that comes with the shoe so I always replace it with a SuperFeet insert. If you are looking for a lightweight shoe that can handle a lot of miles this is the one! I have really high arches and am a forefoot striker. I like the flexibility and light weight of this shoe, but it's too hard. It needs cushioning in the forefoot. I've been a Nike runner for years, looking for a replacement for the now extinct Air Zoom Miler. This isn't it. I have been wearing Mizuno Wave Precision's exclusively for the last few years- no other shoe will do. I run 30-40 miles per week and these shoes are perfect, they're light and provide cushioning and stability at the same time. They keep getting better and lighter- this newest version litteraly feels like air! I love them! My only qualm- I burn through them fairly quickly- I buy a new pair every couple months. I think they won't last a long with a heavier person- I'm 5'4" and 135lbs. I've been a Mizuno fan for years; Mizuno Mavericks remain my all-time favorite shoes. This shoe, however, is the most uncomfortable running shoe I've ever worn. They feel "hard" -- not enough cushioning, I guess; and they don't give the "fits like a glove" feel that I've come to expect from Mizuno. Please bring back the Maverick! I just received my wave precision's last week. I was so excited to try them on since I really, really loved the precision 5's I have. I was quite disappointed. They don't have near the cushioning as the older version and they don't hug my feet like the 5's. I felt they were a 1/2 size bigger than the older model also. I am sending mine back and hoping mizuno will go back to the old fit.
