Wide toe box, narrow heel, great for late-stage pronation. Fantastic traction on all trail surfaces and great cushioning. Fast drying. Firm medial post which is great for trail stability, but feels stiff on roads during mixed runs.

This is my first pair of Mizuno trail shoes. Overall, I'm very pleased with the fit, responsiveness, and just how "nimble" they feel on the trails. I would like to see more cushioning in the forefoot, and a slightly beefier upper (these will get snarled by rocks, shrubs, etc. in no time!), but I will certainly consider buying these shoes again.

These are great on the trail. The first run I took, they were holding up excellent and I was comfortable for every hour of running.

My second trail shoe! I searched for years to find a good trail shoe that would fit my narrow, high arched foot, that would not be too bulky but have good traction and would not break the bank. This is the shoe. If you already run in a Mizuno road shoe, then you need to run in this shoe as well. If you run in another shoe, you need to try this shoe! Good traction, good fit, not bulky, not heavy. Takes to the road well (although I would stay to the trails) This shoe handles beach running, packed trails, hiking trails and single track. Good all around off-road shoe with tradional Mizuno feel - meaning you can feel the terrain while enjoying good cushion.

I've had these shoes for about a week now and have put about 25 miles on them on singletrack and limestone trails. They're lightweight comfortable and my feet don't feel like they're beat up after a run. I've had issues with fasciitis and so far these have been great!!!!!! The only con- they're ENDANGERED :( I'm definitely going to have to get another pair.

As an avid trail runner frequenting trails ranging from muddy, waterladen singletrack to bark dust trails and gravel road, I have tested these shoes in quite extreme conditions as well as more casual trail use. I am extremely impressed with the traction and comfort. While not waterproof, they perform well in wet conditions. The Mizunos are also very nimble, handle great both on steep uphill and downhill terrain. These are my first Mizuno running shoes, but won't be my last.

I have been wearing mizuno wave creation for years and decided I needed a trail shoe - running all winter on trails in the pacific NW does a number on your shoes! I ordered this shoe because it was the same brand that I normally wear and it is exactly what I wanted. A little tougher and more stable than my normal road shoes, but not too heavy or bulky.

I have to say out of all the trail shoes I have tried this one has been the best so far. As soon as I got them they were so comfortable and had the best support. It wasn't to narrow or to wide. The only thing I did noticed is that the shoe wears quickly.
