Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I've been running in Mizunos for the past 12 years. I race in Wave Precision and previously trained in the Creation. I'm a light-framed but high-mileage runner, so I always appreciated the cushioning and durability of the Creation.
Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I'm a neutral runner with high arches and a previous history of plantar fasciitis. I was running in the New Balance 1063, which are reasonably good shoes. I recently switched to the Mizuno Wave Rider (WR) 13 and I'm blown away by the difference. The WR 13 together with the orange Superfeet insoles turned out the be the perfect combination of flexibility, stability and cushioning in an amazingly light-weight performance shoe for short and long-distance runs. Wonderful experience! Pros

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I've been running consistently (3 miles or more at least 3 times a week) for the last few years. I've got high arches and average knees. I just recently began training for the St. Jude Marathon and needed a new pair of shoes. I ran in the Mizuno Wave Rider 11s for around 1.5 years and loved them. The 13s are lighter and provide better support and cushion. If you liked the previous wave riders, you'll love these.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I came from the Mizuno Wave Inspire 6 shoe, which was a great training shoe. After putting 400 miles on them I decided to stick with Mizuno but find something that wasn't a stability shoe. The Wave Rider 13 has been nothing short of amazing. I typically run 6+ miles, 6 days a week and I've been very happy with how they perform. I feel the road much better through these shoes, but there is still enough cushion for my running. I'm 5'9", 140lbs so I don't have a heavy footfall, but it's still nice to have a lightweight, fast shoe that doesn't jar my legs. These will be the ones I run with at the Disney Marathon in January.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: The Wave Rider has been exceptionally consistent over the past three or four years and many iterations. I changed to this model when the Asics model I faithfully wore changed just too much between models. Though the cosmetics of this shoe change pretty dramatically, I find the performance of the shoe to be outstanding. I need a relatively lightweight, neutral trainer for 25 - 50 miles per week and the Wave Rider works like a charm.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I've only been running in these shoes for about 3 weeks. So far, they are fairly comfortable. I'm a long time Pegasus runner, but have gotten tired of the good one year, bad the next routine. This shoe feels pretty true to size and has been comfortable right out of the box. So far, I have only run shorter runs (<10 miles). I haven't had any problems with blisters or hot spots.
Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: Excellent cushioning and an unbeatable transition from heel to toe. Love them! Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: Greatest Rider ever!!!! Never thought the WR 9 could be beat. Huge improvements to the upper. Heel locks in much better. Snugger upper.Eyelets are properly spaced apart now. WR 12 The eyelets came together too close when tying the laces. Feels nice and secure on the foot. Extremely lightweight. Best Neutral trainer on the market. Keep up the great work Mizuno. Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: If you liked the 12's you'll love these. Same fit, but seems a little snuger in the heel and arch. Nice light weight for an everyday trainer and still has good flex in the forefoot. Pros

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I have been wearing the Mizuno Wave Rider series shoe for several years. It has just enough stability and cushioning and the heel is firm with no slippage. I like a lighter shoe for races, but this shoe is perfect for road training.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: I got this she at first because it was what I could best afford. After running in Nike Zoom Vomero 5's I totally felt a difference. These shoes aren't pillows on your feet. Their tires that get you to go faster. I liked how these shoes made me less prone to heel striking and injury. The way the heel is stiff just keeps you on your midfoot and forefoot area more. I noticed my stride and turn over improved after I got into these shoes even though I got them a half size too big on accident. They take some getting used to after switching from some soft marshmallow shoe but they're awesome after that first week.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: Just feel natural to me. Some shoes are too squishy and I think this causes some little aches and pains for me. These are firmer, but still have enough cushion.

Comments about Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 13 Running Shoe: About a full half ounce lighter than the previous model without sacrificing any cushioning or feel. May take a few runs to get used to the firmer feel to the heel, but on your longer runs it'll make a big difference. I've even raced several 10K's in them and it performed well. Snug fit, but it was just right for me Open mesh upper is superb in the warmer weather. Very pleased.
