Have only ran in these shoes a couple times so far. I really like the fit as I like a shoes that is snug around the ankle and has enough room around the toes.

I am sold on Mizuno running shoes for my needs. I have been completing marathons and Ironman trainings in Mizuno shoes for several years. These shoes will be put to the test for my first 50 mile ultramarathon.

I bought these after coming off a pair of New Balance 1200 series and they fit me so much better, I also tried some Brooks.. but the Mizuno's are the best fit for my running style (heavy heal strike).
The Gel really heaps reduce the impact and I really have had no problems with the heavy demands of marathon training.
18-20 mile training runs were no problem with these and I have had problems in the past with shoes with not enough support (calf cramps) so these have more than adequate support for my needs.

Right out of the box, I went on a 22 mile long run, the first time in months the temperature has been below 60F. The shoes are lighter than my Asics Gel 15s. I'll never own another pair of Asics, wear out way too quickly. I love the shoe, but I went thru 6 pairs last year and all developed a hole in the inside heel within a month. Sorry, I digress. I did get one small blister with the Mizunos, but that was my fault(poor sock choice for the long run). I'll know soon about the durability because I'm training for 2 marathons in the next 4 months. I especially like the wider toe box in the Mizunos. Just enough cushioning and no knee soreness. I'm very impressed.

Really like these shoes. Spent a lot of time and money looking for a pair that are supportive, fast and cushioned. I'm 5'11", 195. Put in 12 to 15 miles a week, mostly treadmill. Have had lots of knee problems. This is this first shoe that I am not feeling pain from (runner's knee). (Note that I have been building my quads strength, using a foam roller for IT band and really working on my form too).

Have tried Brooks Adreneline 10 and 9, Nike LunarGlide, ASICS Kayano 15, Foundation 8 and Evolution 4. Even tried custom orthotics.

If you are on the big side and want to run fast, get these. The ASICS 3020s are good as well, but right now I like the Mizunos better.

I started out years ago with Mizuno Wave Alchemy 7's and have been in love with and running exclusively in the Wave Alchemy style for four years now. The 10's are the best yet. I'm a short distance runner (5 and 10K's) but because of my knee problems I need to be very choosey about the shoes I run in and the Wave Alchemy's fit my needs. Since running in Wave Alchemy's I rarely have sore knees after a run and my feet are never tired or sore. I run on asphalt and concrete and the durability both inside and out are well above average. I'm on my second pair of 10's and will stick with this brand and style.

Recently purchased the Mizuno Wave Alchemy 10 running sneakers after a three-year hiatus from running.

Years ago I ran with Mizuno sneakers, and they're as good as I remember. For a runner with a narrow foot like me, they're a great fit. They've got a balanced feel and aren't too heavy. There's also plenty of cushioning and stability, which is very helpful as I try to re-build my running stride.

Mizuno might not be the first name that comes to mind for running sneakers, but I'm very pleased with the quality and comfort and would certainly recommend them.

i've owned about every brand out there, & when i stumbled onto the muzuno brand, i learned of a new experience, what a great running shoe, or walking shoe, the design is cool, dry, very comfortable and one of the major thing's for me is durability, i have always wore out the heal part of the shoe with half life left in sole until i found mizuno, great shoe, try it you'll like it' thk u ts

I use these shoes for all of my Air Force fitness program workouts. I usually have problems with shin splints and these shoes have offered the most support and comfort and relief of that pain of all that I have tried so far. I am on my 2nd pair!

A great shoe that responds very well on long runs and all other training runs. The forefront of the shoe seems to need a little more cushioning but overall a great shoe. I have tried other makes and models and always go back to Mizuno!

I have been wearing the Mizuno Alchemy for several years now. It is an excellent shoe for those who wear orthotics. I have not been injured from my pronation in several years due to the stability this shoe model provides.

I have been using the Wave Alchemys for the last several years, and several generations of the shoe. I use them for my marathon/half-marathon training. I typically run about 300 miles in them before I pick up a new pair but they can last for more. I have slight pronation and the shoes control it very well.

These are the best supportive running shoe I've tried. I'm just a bit too heavy and too much of a heel striker which requires really good heel cushioning. For me, I prefer neutral with a supportive insole, it works great for me. I'm sure I'm not typical and this review should be a perfect five as these shoes outside of heel pain were absolutely perfect!

Great stabile shoe without the weight and bulk. I overpronate and can easily use orthodics in this shoe with no problem. The shoe is roomy and I switched to a medium thickness sock and the shoe fits perfect. The only complaint I have is there is not enough cushion in the heel to have a secure fit there. That's the only thing preventing me to give them 5 stars.

I run about 25 miles per week and was really looking forward to these shoes based on some friend's recommendations. So far, they have really torn the balls of my feet up. I have had them for a month now, have rotated them with my old shoes, and still they are killing the bottom of the feet. I wear great socks (smartwools) but still they are causing me problems on long runs. I love the look and the impact cushioning and the breathability of the shoes... just hope this is a break in problem. Guess I will have to try some new insoles.
