Only recently began wearing these regularly. Bought a closeout pair on a whim. Might be the best NB shoe yet for my feet. The 1010 has a reasonably wide toe. This alone is becoming a fabulous rarity in MC shoes. I used to love Brooks MC, but the new pointy-toes won't cut it for my feet. I have no clue how these MC designers figure that guys with swimfins like mine can even briefly tolerate a pointy-toe. They are obsessed with shaving a fraction of an ounce of weight off the toe, and thereby produce shoes which are entirely worthless to a genuine flatfoot. The 1010 also has a nice wide sole, unlike the narrow, rock-hard soles that NB used to annoy me with (even when the upper was a 4E). 1010 has Plenty of midfoot support, and yet decent cushion everywhere else. It's still early miles for me, but so far, I am quite impressed.

By far THE most comfortable pair in the motion plus line I've purchase in the past 5 years.Tried the Brooks, Asics,and Sauconys brand and they all fall short by comparison. The toe room,stability,and the cushion no other brand comes close. Especially for a 255lbs person. Please! Please! Please! bring them back in circulation.

Saw them on sale and got them. I don't have many choices in size 16 and have mostly worn Beasts for the past decade. I love these 1010s. I'm 6'5", 260 lbs with normal feet. Can't comment on details, all I know is that I've done 20 mile runs in these and never once thought about my feet.

These shoes are without any cushioning. They are stiff and make you work harder than necessary to run. They compare poorly with NB1123. The update (NB1011) is more flexible, but I have not run in them yet. Do not buy these!

6'4" 250lb size 14 4E able to actual run longer than 3 months while averging 25 miles before support broke. Shoe lasted 5 months. Perfect shoe for XL runners.

If you have flat feet don't buy this shoe. Also, if you have a small heel don't buy this shoe. This 1010 has a serious arch and a wide heel. I had blisters after 2 miles. The good thing about these shoes is that my knees didn't hurt like they usually do. But I had to wait 2 days for the blisters to go away so they just didn't work. This is the most intense motion control shoe I've worn. If had much less of an arch and a narrow heel, it would be a great shoe.

This shoe didn't work for me. I've got flat feet, immediately experienced blisters in left arch. Kept using the shoes, thought they'd break in. Callouses developed. Then, a stress fracture in right foot. Healed. Took shoes out again, immediate blisters in left arch. Shoes are discarded. Should have done it sooner.

Felt like I got 2 different sized shoes, so I checked, but they were both the same. The left one felt an entire size larger. I wore 2 thick socks and my left foot still slid around while my right in one thin sock was snug. I next checked my feet to assure myself that they were the same size and they were. Same left shoe put blisters on the extreme rear of where my flat foot should have an arch on my first and second run. Thats the last time I've worn them for running. Laces were cool.

Motion Control doesn't have to be klunky! This is the lightest, most comfortable motion control shoe I have owned since I began running in 1983.

I am 180lbs(+) and could not distance run due to awful knee problems-not with these!! Puts everything in line and does a great job. Was able to run my first marathon primarily because of these!! Top Notch!!!

This shoe is awful! I run 30-50 miles a week. I'm 5'10" 176lbs w/ extremely flat feet. After running 20 miles with this shoe I started getting calf pain. I'm going back to the 1122s.

I love this shoe! The toe box in most shoes feels too low to me, but I have lots of room in the 1010. I need a lot of cushioning and support, and this shoe does it. I even like those funny laces! I switched from Brooks, and I agree with the reviewer who said Brooks feels weird to him. They always felt funny to me, too, although I don't have a specific complaint.

Fantastic! Yay, I don't need orthotics anymore...at least not when I'm wearing these shoes. In addition to superb support and motion control, the NB1010 has a roomy & comfortable toebox, nice cush and a perfectly placed arch. Sign me up for a lifetime supply!

I am buying my second pair. As a "heavy" heal striking jogger - finally a shoe that has cusion, heel comfort, arch control, and doesn't blow out the airbags like in the past 4 Nike models. First time wearing takes a little getting used to with the big sole and motion control insert, but running injury free is absolutely worth it for this "flatfoot". More than 6 months and the outer sole heal is not worn through and there is still good feel. Nice design from N.B.

I have been in these for 6 months now and they are awesome. I am a fit 210lbs and have tried all the other big boy shoes and by far and away these are the most comfortable and have been the only ones that kept me injury free.

The most stable shoe I've ever tried on. Your foot won't move in these. The fit is much better than the Beasts I tried (Brooks shoes always felt weird on my feet) and the shoe is definitely durable. The only negative is that it is really heavy and it feels like I'm running with bricks on my feet.

I used this shoe for the 2005 and 2006 135 mile Badwater Ultramarathon. I am 230 pounds, 5'10", and over-pronate. I will use this bad boy once again in 2007 to go the distance.

This is a excellent addition to the motion control line, I have run in most of the motion control shoes and in my opinion these are the best to come along in years. They are a little heave but nothing compared to the Beast.
