Comments about Women's New Balance Running Shoes | New Balance 1062 - Road Runner Sports:

I love these shoes. I have been a huge fan of Mizuno and my last 10+ pairs before buying NB were Mizuno Wave Creation. I was tired of spending over $100 on shoes, and these were on sale so I decided to buy them. I have had my best ever runs in these and I don't think I will go back to the Creation unless these are discontinued.

Love, love these shoes! Please don't endanger them -- their replacement, the 1063 is horrible!!! These are wonderful, last under high distances and are the most comfortable running shoes from NB I've ever owned

Comments about Women's New Balance Running Shoes | New Balance 1062 - Road Runner Sports:

Loved loved loved the 1061. Hate the 1062. I had huge blisters on both of my insteps after wearing this shoe--and I never get blisters. The N lock is just too tight on the instep. I thought it would loosen up, but it didn't. Very disappointed. Want the 1061 back.

Comments about Women's New Balance Running Shoes | New Balance 1062 - Road Runner Sports:

I love the 1062. I have narrow, high arched feet and these are great even with the B width. I had a GAIT specialist recommend these and they have been gems with my runs both on road and on the treadmill.
I am buying my second pair. I do recommend buying insoles if you have high arches, that has helped my feet.

Comments about Women's New Balance Running Shoes | New Balance 1062 - Road Runner Sports:

I love NB and have worn them for over 10 years. I hated this shoe! I returned my first pair because the left shoe was shorter than the right (on the inside). I got another pair and the left is shorter than the right; they are both shorter and less roomy in the toe than they should be. I'm not buying one size bigger, I'm buying something else.

Comments about Women's New Balance Running Shoes | New Balance 1062 - Road Runner Sports:

I bought these shoes out of desparation, I also promised myself I would never buy NB again. They where a better shoe years ago.
I wasn't happy with the cushioning in the 1062, and they seemed very narrow on my feet, which made them too tight when I ran later in the evening. I am just logging the miles until I get ready to buy Saucony again.

Comments about Women's New Balance Running Shoes | New Balance 1062 - Road Runner Sports:

I loved the 1061. There were a few improvements in this shoe. The toe box seems to be wider and the tongue is shorter and not as thick as the 1061. I was planning to wear the 1062 in my next marathon. I started to break tehm in by doing several runs of 2 to 3 miles. Then, I decided to wear it on an 10 mile run. My toes were hurting by mile 4. It felt like NB had taken away some of the cushioning in the front part of the shoes as compared to the 1061s. I am very disappointed that I can not wear these shoes for runs longer that 3 miles.

Comments about Women's New Balance Running Shoes | New Balance 1062 - Road Runner Sports:

Love the 1061,but the revision has a significantly shorter arch plate (?) that makes for a more abrupt curve inside - which my feet don't like. Also, I under-pronate a little, and with the shortened span on the outside, I lop over way more than on the 1061. The back of the shoe hits lower on my heel, and rubs noticeably. I made it a whole 0.1 mi. and had to get it off my foot. Nice try, but just not for me.

Comments about Women's New Balance Running Shoes | New Balance 1062 - Road Runner Sports:

The NB1062 seems to be the perfect shoe for me----an excellent blend of cushion, support, flexibility and fit. At just over 10 oz. it is relatively lightweight; also a plus. At 50 yrs. old, I have run 74 lifetime marathons (PR of 3:13:53 in July 2007 at San Francisco) and continue to focus much of my racing on endurance events. I need a good solid neutral trainer for much of the 60+ miles that I train per week; and the NB1062 fits the bill. I plan to use the NB1062 for my longer training runs; and will switch to the NB826 for faster paced/shorter workouts and races.
