I purchased my first pair of 1009s a couple of months ago. I workout 5 days a week. Within 2 weeks, the dark blue shoestring eyelets started to tear. I took the shoes back to the store and they gave me another pair. 3 weeks later the eyelets on the new pair began to fail. I haven't experienced any problems with this shoe at all. I love them so much that I purchased a 2nd pair. Highly recommended. This shoe did not work for me. It was very heavy on my feet, and it did not provide any support. My knee and ankle issues got worse after working out in this shoe. I returned them.
