Okay I have very high arches and trying to get back in shape. It is not easy by any means and when your feet hurt, it is worse. I do have custom inserts for my arches that I put in my shoes. The toe box on this shoe is just wide enough and tall enough that it is extremely comfortable, and not too bulky. BTW this is my first pair of New Balance, but not my last for sure.

Great running shoe for light runners with high arches. I run about 40-45 mpw and run in a couple of 10K's a month. The shoes are pretty durable and if you take care of them, can get about 400 miles to a pair.

Excellent shoe. I am buying 2 more pairs today. I have low arches and I never had arch pain or blisters. New Balance shoes usually aren't too aesthetically appealing, but these aren't so bad.

I'm 5'5", 120lbs and run about 30 miles a week...switched to this shoe model about 2 months ago and love it. Used to have ankle pain with my old shoes for over a year, but not with these. Could be coincidence that the pain went away, but I feel so good and they have performed to the point where I am trying to stock up on this model before it becomes discontinued!

I just bought my SIXTH pair of this shoe. It is a superb cushioning neutral shoe. I am 5'3" 130 lbs, have surgically repaired feet, and run 30-40 miles weekly. This shoe is a godsend. I do use a single edge razor blade to carefully remove some of the vinyl decor in the toe box area because vinyl has no give and restricts my forefoot. Then the shoes are perfect. I sure hope New Balance does a 1064 for their next act.

I was having Achilles tendon, heel and foot pain from inappropriate work shoes. I started walking for exercise and wanted very good support. My pain is gone! These shoes have great cushion and support, spacious room for the toes and great air-flow.

I love the New Balance 1060 series, my favorite was the original 1060 (of which I had several pairs stocked up on my closet shelf). The only problem I have with the 1063 is the stiff leather New Balance logo on the tongue of the shoe--it gave me blisters on the tops of my ankles! I used a seam ripper and scissors to remove the leather logo and the 1063's now fit like a dream!

I have two pairs of the 1062 but found the box toe way too wide for my narrow, high arched feet. So I got the 1063 in narrow and they are way too tight. It might be the type of socks I am wearing which are thick socks. I am going to exchange them for the regular width in hopes that I love them as much as my 1062's.

The past few years I ran with the asics nimbus, and then the ten came out and I got a lot of injuries. The toe box was different and the fit was different. I tried the NB 1063, I used to wear 1061, and I love them. They are by far the best running shoe I have worn in a long while. From short three miles to long ten milers they are awesome

I LOVE these shoes. I'm 5'4", 136 lbs with high arches, and an under-pronator. These shoes feel absolutely wonderful... I'm in love. The support and cushioning are perfect.

I love the NB 1063. I was having posterior knee problems with my Saucony's, almost ready to give up running. I got the NB 1063's and I am running again. Just bought a 2nd pair to have on hand in case they change them. NB don't change these shoes they are great!

The shoe is very light and fits comfortably. Only thing is the arch support is not enough for me I would need to use an insert.

I have just started running and love this pair of shoes. Others have given me shin pain, but these haven't. I would highly recommend them.

Switched from an Asics model that was giving me ankle and achielles issues and LOVE these shoes. My pain is gone, I can go the distances I want to and enjoy running with them. They are light-weight, keep my feet cool and I love the extra cushioning. I did add the pink Super Feet for additional arch support. RRS, don't discontinue carrying this shoe please.

I want my 1062's back--I have been wearing this shoe since probably the 1060 model and this is the first time I have had trouble. This 1063 is not as cushioned or as wide as it's predecessor's. Blisters first run.

This shoe is horrible! I have not changed my weekly distance or the surface and this only lasted 2.5 months compared to the 1062 which went 6 full months before breaking down. Don't care what Runner's World says - over $100 for something that lasts such a short time is unacceptable.

Have ran in Asics for the last 10 years and swore I'd never switch....however, this shoes is amazing!!
