      I have two previous models of this shoe (905 and 906), and the 910 is a whole new world. NB didn't just slap a different sole onto a standard running shoe like other manufacturers have done; these are basically a low-cut alternative to hiking boots, and they're built to last. There's only one problem with them: the fit. I've always worn a 7.5 in New Balance shoes and hiking boots, and these look and feel like an 8.5 or 9 -- essentially too big to be wearable. That's incredibly disappointing from a company with as strong a reputation for quality and consistency as NB.

        Just began training for my first 5K. I live in Montana where the norm is a "wintery mix" this time of year. These shoes are getting me out of my house and running. Though they are NOT waterproof, I avoid what puddles I can and just move on down the road. When I originally ordered, there was a note to order 1/2 size up, which I did. I found this information incorrect as they were a full size too big and I had to reorder a size smaller. Even with this little bump, RRS was super helpful and I love my new "runners."
