The Vomero is the best road shoe I have run in a long time and i have been running since 1987. I like a shoe for the road that absorbs as much impact as possible. (Shouldn't everybody that is the knock against running is impact)I had the original Vomero and they were great but wore out a little to q

6' 175# averaging 25 miles per week. I noticed that they were "squishy" right away. Did not pay attention to that, mistake. Ended up with plantar facaitis and have only run 30 miles in the last 3 months. I have always run in Nike shoes, however this was my first (and last) vomero.
