Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: I am a 62 year old heavier runner (5'10", 180 lb)with slight pronation. I have been running about five years and try to run an organized half marathon each month. I average about 20-25 miles per week. I have run mostly in Asics Kayano...but read the reviews on the Nike Triax and decided to give it a try. For me, it was love from first run. The shoe fit better than any I had previously worn. My best praise is that I didn't think about the shoes/support/cushioning at all while running. They were comfortable and supportive from the get go. They feel more cushioned than the Asics (which I like)...but seem to offer every bit as much support. I ran a ten miler out of the box...and was sold. Since then, I have bought two more pair and replaced my other shoes in the rotation. The only down side for me is that I perspire profusely on long runs...and these shoes seem to retain the water a little more than others I have worn. Not a big deal, given the other pluses.
Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: I am loving the 13's. I have had the 11's, 12's and now the 13's and find them lighter and more flexible. Seem to have a nicer fit for me. I was a little skeptical with how much noticably lighter they were, but still felt like I had good medial support and cushion. I've been running for 2+ years and haven't had any other shoes, but haven't had a reason to either. Pros

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: I am a 155 lb slight pronator, run 30-40 miles per week and generally wear stability shoes. However, since I also have a neuroma, I need a shoe that comes in wide (2E), has a roomy toe box and good cushioning, and is able to accomodate an orthotic. This rules out most shoes on the market. I have been able to wear New Balance 993, New Balance 760 and Nike Air Structure Triax. The Nike's are the best value so they are what I run in the most.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: I've run in New Balance for many years...decided to give the Nike's a shot and have been very pleased thus far with the performance. Excellent comfort (even for just walking), fit is dead on and the fact that they hold up for a 6'2 220lb guy should say quite a bit. I will continue to run in these shoes and hope that Nike learns as New Balance did long ago....there are bigger runners!

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: I've lost track, but this is probably my 9th or 10th pair of Triax across several different models. I have never been disappointed. I fluctuate from a casual 5-10 miles a week to as much as 30-40 during training, and these shoes hold up well. I have feet on the narrow side, so fit is sometimes a challenge for me. These work well in that category, and heel slippage is at a minimum. They breathe better now than some models in the past & dry out quickly. I simply don't have anything bad to say about these shoes. From trail running to road running to classes at the gym, these should work well for most people.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: I got this shoe for stability, and it was a great idea. Very comfortable, found it a bit narrow even in wide size, guess thats Nike issue, they dont give the best width in the middle part of the shoe. I got this at a very good price as well, and im really glad i bought it from Roadrunners, with their warranty, they are great at customer care, just give them a call and u will know. I use it for casual walking and daily commute and my feet dont hurt anymore. I live in NY and commute thru subway with long standing travel sometimes, no comfort issues at all. The only problem i found was the inner sole of left foot is giving me some pain. I spoke with people at Nike and they said it might be bcoz of narrow width so i am going to try a wider size with the peace of mind that i will get one through roadrunners, [...]. I would suggest to know about ur true size before ordering, but this is by far the best stability shoe i ve ever used. Highly recommended.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: I'm 5'11", and weigh in on average at around 170lbs. I've been wearing the Nike Triax+ since v11. Well, actually I wore v11 right past v12, and jumped straight to the new v13. This is solely because I had bought extra pairs of the v11. Anyway, I am now on my second pair of v13. I have a high arch, but run with this stability shoe because my slight bow legginess causes me to over pronate. These shoes so far have worked perfectly at correcting this. The only problem I have with them is how fast they wear out. I currently put in 20-Miles a week. That's 4-miles a day M-F, and I use Saturday and Sunday to rest. At this pace, the shoes only last a couple of months before the outer layer of rubber (the hard traction layer), wears completely down to the softer white core. The rest of the shoe holds up outstandingly. So much so, that looking at the shoes from the side or top down, they still look practically brand new. However, flip them over and all you will see is a completely smooth and slick sole in the forefoot. I realize that living in an area that forces me to run solely on concrete sidewalks, is of course what causes the shoes to wear so quickly. I simply wish Nike made the outer rubber layer of the shoe a little more dense to deal with such an environment. Because the shoe wears so quickly for me, I can only give it 4-stars. Oh, and before you think it, NO I am not a runner who drags his feet. So this is not the cause ;P My 4-mile jog pace on average is around 30-35 minutes.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: Ok, Runner's World gave these the big two thumbs up- Legit? YES. Light, smooth and a GREAT fit. I need pronation control and these are very stable. The shoe gets you onto the forefoot really quickly and it is very cushioned on toe off. Limitations? The Structure is not the fastest transition shoe, heel to toe, and does not have that high propulsion feel that can be great. For this year- the best transition shoe is the Brooks Adrenaline X- but the Nike fits better. Both are awesome shoes- buy both and rotate if you can.
Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: Yes any running shoe can be a WALKING shoe. The second review should not even be considered. The shoe to RUN in, is completely different than the 12. The Arch sits back and since nike decided not to take the outer ridge out, it presses aginst the 5th metatarsal. Once again, horrible shoe but lighter. Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: Congrats Nike, You have gone back to your orignally ways of messing up something that works for you. The shoe is bearable. Its light, but the support is not in the same place plus an added rigid on the lateral side of the midarch. Thank you Nike, i knew this day would come Pros

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: As a flat-footer, shin splints and knee and back soreness were common during long distance runs. The Structure Series allowed me to run 5k, 10k, and half-marathons races without pain and discomfort. I highly recommend it.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: I use these for recreational walking and hiking in town and the country, including quite tough terrain on 4 hour hikes. My feet never feel tired, hot or cramped. This is the second pair of Nike Zooms I have bought from RoadRunner. Great product, great price!

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: Once I ran in them they became my favorite shoe. They give good support, good cushioning, not heavy and they have a simple design that does not scream "Trying to be a teenager again" looking at buying a second pair.

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: Stick to Roadrunners suggestions on like style/built shoes. I diverted from their suggested list and came across this shoe. It had poor features compared to the Nike Equalon. USE ROADRUNNERS features for better fit!

Comments about Mens Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 13 Running Shoe: I have been wearing these shoes for two years now. They took me through a pregnancy (walking) and back to running after having the baby. They were comfortable to wear when I was 65 pounds heavier and are just as comfortable now after the weight loss. This shoe works very well with my orthotics and I very much enjoy running in them again. Bought 4 pairs when they were on sale!
