Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: I was a non-Nike user for many, many years, as I have a wide foot and Nike (typically) only offers a "standard" width. However, my wife uses the Nike+ system with her iPod, and I became increasingly jealous. So, I tried a pair of Nike Free 5's on at the local running store. I was surprised at how great the shoe felt (width wise).

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: The feel of this shoe is fantastic! Feels like a sock with a sole. The problem is that this shoe did not work as a running shoe for me. The Nike Free outsole will only work for very light runners who really appreciate the "Barefoot Running" idea. I still love and recommend this shoe for anyone, but only for a casual wear. I'm sticking to my Lunarglides for running.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: I have been a fairly casual runner...recently completed my 2nd half-marathon, and am considering training for a full in the spring. I figured I would give these shoes a try in-between. I started wearing this shoe about a month ago, and have been blown away. The shoe is extremely light and flexible, and they definitely help me run lighter on my feet and reduce the impact of my heel. I can't even imagine running in anything resembling my Brooks running shoes that I used up until a month ago. I now look forward to my runs just because it means I get to wear my Nike Free shoes! Not sure how they will be on a treadmill in the winter, but they are terrific on the open road!

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: I'm 6' 3", 220 lbs and 31 years. I've been running in mine for 3 months (~25+ miles / week) and they've been great for me. For the last few years I ran in Vomeros because I assumed I needed the extra cushioning for my weight, but with these I get a better run and feel noticeably stronger. My knees were sore after the first run or two, but once the muscles and tendons around my knees began to strengthen, the soreness went away completely. I don't miss the extra cushioning in the least, and my leg muscles have become much more defined, especially my calves. I would even say my knees feel better now than they did in the Vomeros.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: I got this shoe so that I would have a minimalist shoe to add to my quiver. I run about 40-50 miles per week and am training for several half marathons this fall and then Boston next spring. I've been researching barefoot running and am not quite ready to dive into the Vibram 5 Fingers so I went with Nike's version. I have the Luna Racers and have been happy with them so I figured I could trust the Free Run to help in my training.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: Pretty great shoe. I am transitioning to the POSE method of running, and these have been helping out dramatically. These are not like racing flats, but they are not regular running shoes either. They have a slight heel, so if you are not a true fore foot runner, it will be ok. All in all, pretty great shoe.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: Graduated from LunarFly to the Free Run, and I really like this shoe. I have about 225km on the shoes so far, and have noticed a little bit of very mild plantar pain recently in one foot (never had a problem before now) but this is likely due to my high arches, and as a minimalist shoe there isn't much arch support. I would love to move towards barefoot running and I'm hoping this will get me closer. Not the best for trail running or on very rough surfaces, since you will feel every rock. Overall, I'm very happy and plan on purchasing the Free Run again.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: As a runner for decades I discovered barefoot running on the beach next to water more then 25 years ego . But after some injuries from stepping on shells , broken glass convinced me to get this shoes . This shoes feel the best I ever wore before . I am using it now for treadmill and trek running . After getting used to it I can't wait for better weather to run in the park . [...]Thanks for opening my eyes to a better way of running .

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: I have plantar fasciitis. Tried this shoe, using only on a treadmill, to see if it made a difference. It hasn't helped but it hasn't worsened the injury. Plus, the shoe is as comfortable as anything I've ever had on my feet. Bought a second pair to wear on weekends.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: I love this shoe! Hugs your feet like a house slipper and feels like it too. Very comfortable to run in and light as a feather. Bought my second pair a week after the first because I don't want to be without them.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: I have been walking in this shoe only, trying to strengthen my feet and break into this "free" line of thought slowly. I run 40 miles a week in a different shoe, but with the results I am already noticing, I will start with some 3 mile runs in the "Free's" and add another pair soon. I can feel the muscles in my calves and feet strengthening. Great shoe.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: These are my second pair of Nike Frees. I was excited about the new colors which look great with everything, but in terms of running in them, I have changed my stride and now run faster and better thanks to these new shoes!

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: Super comfortable and light weight. Great for training, sprints, short runs and long runs. Shoe is ideally suited for road running, I would not recommend this shoe for trail running or exercises involving lateral movements.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: I'm 5'5", 123 lbs. and have been using the Free's since they first came out. I feel that this latest version is the best iteration. I gradually worked up to using these for my longest runs and races and just did a marathon (3:14) in them. They were perfect all through my training and the race.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: Before running with the Nike Free's I got a patella injury after only just starting out as a runner. I had logged probably less than 50 miles doing jogging/walking intervals in a pair of Brooks runners, then after I got fitted for a pair of asics bought insoles for and a patella brace. Eventually I had an MRI and was told that my knees weren't strong enough and I had injured my patella. I tried some knee strengthening exercises and started icing my knee but it hurt every time I ran even after a long break from running. One day I pulled an old pair of Nike Free's out of my closet and decided to try them out. It felt great so I decided to buy a new pair. In one week I will be running the Philadelphia Marathon (my first race) and I will be running in my Nike Free's. I've logged over 400 training miles and I haven't had any pain in my knee or anywhere else for that matter except for normal muscle soreness. I love these shoes. I'm not a big Nike fan, but I can't argue with results like these.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: I'm a notorious heel striker and over-pronator. I had been nursing injuries for eight weeks straight when I bought these shoes. I'd been using all of the orthotics and structure shoes I could find, but nothing was making me feel better. I swear that my first break-in run of an easy four miles in these shoes had me feeling better! The shoes caused me to use different muscles and not strain the usual muscles. I still use the shoes on my low mileage days and they continue to impress. I've never found a product like this in my 20 years of running. You should give them a try if you need a change.

Comments about Mens Nike Free Run+ Running Shoe: I have to admit, I was apprehensive about buying this shoe. I am a male, 190 lbs, and was worried this shoe wouldn't hold up. I haven't bought a Nike shoe in years (prefer Brooks & Asics) mainly because Nike doesn't offer much as widths go, and I have a 2E width. My wife has been using the Nike+ system, and I jealous, so I started looking at some Nike shoes.
