I must say I was a little nervouse about trying these because they seemed a little gimiky. Nike is all over the place with their running shoes, not really being geared to the true runner, but more about the looks. The Nike Air Max 2011 has exceeded my expectations so far. This is the most cushioned shoe in the Nike line, and I have tried almost everything. Even more than the Lunar glide. I usually use Lunars with inserts, I have found that these control my slight pronation issues with no insert and cushion impact BETTER than the lunar glide. I need impact protection for the joints in my feet, so this is a big deal to me. I am axious to see how long they last, I didn't feel like Lunars lasted very long. I am dealing with some blisters after about mile 6 I can feel them inbetween the pad of my foot and my big toe, but i think I can put some padding in the shoe to prevent that. I have yet to find a blister free shoe! Love these, worth the price!!

I run in my Air Max+ about 5 days a week, distances ranging between 7-15 miles. These shoes are extremely comfortable, durable and offer a superb fit.

They may not be the fastest shoes but are great for training, giving your feet a feeling of protection.

They are perfect for long-distance training and racing.

Whether I'm able to run a quick 5k or push 13, for a large part, depends on what is on my feet.

I run a few miles pretty much every day - - with an exciting interval run here and there, and a long - - 13-mile run every Saturday. My body demands cushioning for all that repetitive impact and the Nike Air Max 2011 delivers it.

The shoe's light mesh, seamless upper, "Fitsole" inner that adjusts to my foot shape, and 360 degree air sole makes for a comfy ride from my first lap to the last. The lightweight feel of the shoe makes my stride feel kind of effortless.

I'm a person who likes consistency when it comes to running gear. If it is not broke don't fix it right? Well, after the Nike Air Max 360s were discontinued, I was forced to look for a similar alternative. My legs had to work a little harder during the first week of running in the Nike Air Max 2011s - - getting used to the change in positioning - - the front air sole is a little lower in the 2011s. But by the end of the week, I was pleasantly surprised how consistently comfortable my runs were.

The Nike Air Max 2011 is ready to perform, even on days I am not.

Even better than the 2010! The upper is more flexible and in turn overall the shoe is less cumbersome. As a marathon runner who logs 50+ miles per week I havectried MANY different shoes, and nothing compares to this one. Great support and cushioning. Great in all seasons. Thanks Nike for another wonderful product.

I am usually true to size on most shoes that I purchase. I read the reviews on these shoes before I purchased them and saw that everyone recommended that you order a half inch up. I did so and wish that I hadn't. Thank goodness I ordered s three-pack of thick socks as well. (By the way, those socks are the Unisex Drymax Medium No Show and they rock! So much cushioning that I hate taking them off) There is a LOT of room in the toe, both in the length but especially in the width. I recommend these shoes but I say try them in your regular size first. [...] allows you to send them back. (My dog literally shredded the box, receipt, etc... so I didn't even bother with trying). Oh, I got these shoes in the charcoal gray and I love the color. Nothing too outrageous but still cool.

This is the forth pair of Nike Air Max I have owned and they just keep getting better. I love running in them and I love the performance results they give me.
