Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: After somehow getting off-track with the Vomero 5's, Nike is back in my "favorites" category with the Vomero 6. The 5+ had an excess of fabric across the toe box, so much so that when I tightened the laces I would have bunched-up material digging into my foot. The 6 feels more like the 2, 3, and 4 that I wore happily for several years. (Note: I wear a 9 in a dress shoe, 10 or 10.5 in most other running shoes, but I need an 11 in the Vomeros.)

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I had sworn off nike a while ago because I could never find a pair I liked. I went to Acsics, which I still love. I came into road runner one morning, while I was skeptical I still aloud them to bring me out a pair of Nikes. I fell in love with these. It feels like you a running on one of those foam tracks without the actual foam track. It is so nice!

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I just switched from the Vomero 4 to 6. Prior to this shoe, I have been an ASICS fan. However, ASICS gave me blisters on the outer edge of my big toe because of the shape of the toe box.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I run between 30 - 50 miles per week in this shoe. What immediately appealed to me about these shoes was the fact that it comes in wide sizes and the mesh is very accommodating for bunions. What I love about it now, more than 200 miles later, is its continued comfort. I love the cushioning - springy, but not too soft. It also seems to last longer than some other brands I've used. Overall, I'm very glad I went with the Vomero 6!

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I'm a long distance runner and I have to say these are the only shoes I can run 10+ miles in and not blister or get achy feet in! Excellent shoe, will be buying more!

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I have purchased 4 pairs of this shoe in the last two years. I am building a stockpile of them! It is the only shoe I keep coming back to that fits me perfectly. I have tried two different pairs of Brooks in between and both pairs gave me horrible blisters and other problems. I have run 3 - Half Marathons in the last 9 months and this is the only shoe that gets me through training and the races injury free. Love it. As a side note, I have fallen arches and do not use any type of insert other than what comes with the shoe.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis for about 5 months now, after trying almost everything known to man, I got fitted with shoe dog and found this shoe. Amazing! First time I haven't had crippling pain after working 12 hours on my feet. I am so thankful for this shoe!! I also added the super feet insoles .. again, amazing.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I was drawn to this shoe for it's large toe box and was pleased by all the other features too. I have a wide foot, high arch, neutral gait, and mid-foot strike. This shoe is cushioned but it does not over-snuggle my arch, which I appreciate since most high arch shoes tend to hit my arch in the wrong place. I also like the low ankle - there is a lot of cushion around the area without infringing on ankle movement. It's relatively flexible, and although a bit heavier (and more cushiony) then than the shoe I used to wear (mizuno wave rider), the comfort in fit (especially the space for toes to spread out) makes up for the slight weight difference. I haven't run too many miles in them yet, but so far, no hot spots or negative issues with the shoe.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: Absolutely thrilled with these shoes. I was happy with the Vomero 5, but didn't love it as much as the 4. The 6 is FANTASTIC and I am now buying two more pairs so that I can rotate between three pairs and keep them for a long long time.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I won't go on a long run without my Vomeros. I have worn them in their various incarnations for 4 years. I have tried several other neutral shoes (all highly rated) and none have come close to the cushion that these provide. The only negative is that they wear rather quickly with my heavy heal strike.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I have worn Nike shoes since they introduced the Bowerman series. I have had knee problems in the past and I like the cushion they provide. I was trying to replace my 2nd pair of Air Max Moto's but learned the Vomero is not the shoe for me. It is very comfortable as far as cushion but the toe box is far too wide for my liking. I ended up with blisters on both big toes because the front of my foot is not secure and moves around too much. If you have a wide foot, this could be a great shoe for you. If you have a narrow foot, you might find the toe box to be too loose. Unfortunately I cannot find a pair of Nike's with a smaller toe box so I am exchanging these for Saucony ProGrid Ride.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I've gone through so many different brands and styles - Saucony, New Balance, various Nike styles, and just never found a "favorite" that I would want to return to. Always had to go back to the running shoe reveiws, to look for new styles that suited me better. Until this one. I buy it 2-3 pair at a time now. Simply the most comfortable, cushioned running shoe I've ever found. Needs no breaking in. For a Nike, the toe box is ridiculously roomy - almost like a Saucony in that regard. Every other Nike style I've tried (and there's a lot) are always too narrow in the forefoot and toe box. I'm a 'heavy' runner (5'10" and 175 lbs), ~20-25 mi/week, slight underpronate with high arches but not enough to require much of any orthotics - I'm a Neutral Plus. Because of this, the ball of the foot does wear out a bit faster than other styles, as the rubber type on the sole is softer, but I don't care. It's more than worth it.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I am training for my first half marathon, and was having ankle and leg pain in my ASICS. After the Shoe-Dog analysis determined that I actually needed a "neutral" shoe (previously was in a "stability" model) the Vomero 6 was the most comfortable and lightest of all the shoes I tried on (incl. the Vomero 7). Added footbalance custom insoles and a semi-thin sock, and so far it's been a winning combination, with no post-run foot pain, no blisters - just a nice, cushy ride with excellent support. I'm going to buy at least one more pair to have in reserve when these wear out. LOVE them!

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: The only shoe that I have found in several years that allows me to avoid pressure on toe joints. Good for walking, physical therapy and gym activities. Wish they came in all black or black/gray. Yellow and purple really stands out on a 70 year old in dress attire. Couldn't be happier with the first pair I purchased and looking forward to my second.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I just had knee surgery in both knee's last year and these shoes feel great to run in. BUT they are very ugly. The wine and gray is more like lavender and gray. UGLY...I'm going to buy another pair of yellow and gray. Not that I enjoy that color combo but comfort and running is more important to me. Why can't Nike just do black for girls.

Comments about Womens Nike Zoom Vomero+ 6 Running Shoe: I have been a New Balance loyalist for 10+ years, but the in-store helpful clerk suggested I try the Vomero. I was skeptical, but I love it. It's really light and comfortable and still has some shock absorption. I run about 30 mi a week, to include 10K and 10mi races or longer; this shoe feels great. I have really high arches, so I removed the sole and replaced it with the fuschia-colored super feet insoles, and wear thinner running socks with this light shoe. Perfect! I'm now going to stock up!
