Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: I can't think of a higher compliment to give this shoe other than to say, I think my 36 year search for the perfect shoe has finally ended. Here's why...this shoe is fluid, flexible and lightweight like a neutral shoe but provides the stability of a high end motion control shoe.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: One of the biggest problems I had with the Lunarglide 2 was that the toebox was much too baggy for my narrow feet. The Lunarglide 3 has for the most part shored that up. The toe area is much sleeker and hugs the forefoot more effectively than the previous model. They've gotten rid of the the support bar that the 1s and 2s had, but this model still offers the same level of support, and in fact feels more stable than the 2s. It feels quite a bit lighter too. Overall, a nice update.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: As a LunarGlide fan, 500 miles in both LG1 & LG 2, this one corrects the shortcomings of the earlier models. The toebox is more narrow and the bands at the arch keep the shoe snug, but comfortable. Bought them on a Saturday and ran the Hottest Half Marathon the next morning, felt great. Have been using the NB 890 (400 miles) and liked them, but I am a big runner 187 lbs and this shoe cushions just right without being rigid or too heavy.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: The shoe has the potential of creating pressure points on dorsum of foot due to laceable but poorly integrated arch support. After four miles my right foot starts hurting. Loosening up laces don't help. Left foot is alright. Didn't have this problem with Lunar Glide 2. What a shame. This shoe would have been otherwise perfect for me.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: I ran 15 miles with these shoes right out of the box. They offer very good support and cushioning compared to the kayano 17s that I recently retired due to the stiffness on impact when running. I also had a problem with my heal raising up with previous shoes, but this one holds my ankle down. Overall great shoe for long distance road running. [*]

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: I fired New Balance this year and made the switch to Nike, and I'm very pleased. This shoe is really well built. The sole is super cushiony and appears to be durable (I'm 215). Interior is soft and doesn't have any rigid blister-maker seams. The upper is wildly non-existent which makes it very light, I like what Nike is doing with their "upper" technology. I love this shoe so much that I went nuts and designed my own pair on NikeID, to be used in the Dallas White Rock Marathon. A must-try and I'm sure you'll love 'em like I do.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: Since I stopped running 12 years ago I had gotten really out of shape (I'm 5'8" and was 192 lbs). I knew I needed a good, solid shoe to protect my knees. These shoes are excellent and have exceeded my expectations. I've logged about 40 miles in these shoes so far (told you I was out of shape) and they feel great. Ran my first 5k in these shoes and no pain at all. A great shoe for your feet, with nice style to boot (if you're into that sort of thing). As long as these aren't discontinued or changed, I will be buying another pair of these next time around!

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: I love this shoe. I have put over 100 miles on them since they arrived on my doorstep on 12/23. I ran 18 in them this weekend and they held up well over that distance. They are also light and fast enough that I would feel fine choosing them to wear as a race-day shoe for a 5k. Additionally, they look really smooth. My one and only complaint is that I think these shoes are a full size too small. I am a 10.5 and always buy my running shoes in an 11. I should have gone with an 11.5.

Best Uses Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: Went out for a 6 mile run and immediately the outside of my feet started hurting. They were new and this was my first run so I was hoping a couple of miles in my feet would get used to them. They did not and I decided they were way too narrow. So, after the run I returned the shoes. I really liked the looks but way too narrow and I don't have that wide of a foot at all.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: Love this shoe! The LunarGlide+3 has a springy cushioning system. I'm in my 50s and have found the shoe is forgiving yet pretty fast. I did the run section of my last Ironman in the LunarGlide+3. I didn't feel as beat up as usual.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: Had the +3's before and loved them. Went to the +4's, hated them (toe box too small). Came back to these and no problems but they take a little time to break in. great running shoe.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: I got a pair of these last spring. For Christmas, I got a pair of Lunarglide 4s. After a week in the 4s, I had a pretty major MT injury which I traced back to the shoes. I sent them back and got another pair of these and have been good ever since!
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: I am an avid Olympic distance triathlete. I bought these shoes to train for my first half Ironman. I did two training runs and one Olympic tri (about 20 miles total)and the bottom of the shoes came apart. The rubber pads that make up the sole of the shoe actually fell off during my race. I was only 2 miles into the race when I had to take off the shoes and run barefoot for the remaining 4 miles because the blisters the shoes caused in my arches hurt worse than running barefoot on hot pavement. I am no rookie to running. I have 7 Olympic triathlons, 6 sprint tri's, and countless 5k's and 10k's. Not to mention all the training miles for each race. I have run in Brooks, Asics, Puma, New Ballance, and K-Swiss and never had this type of experience with any running shoe.

Best Uses Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: The shoe looks great and I really wanted to love it. However, like all Nikes, it's extremely narrow. I even went up a size to compensate, but to no avail.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: This shoe is a pretty decent next version of the Lunarglide 2. As others have noted, the toebox is a bit narrower. It works for me, but just barely. The shoe has a new sole that doesn't pick up stones like the 2's. The show also feels a bit stiffer and a bit firmer. That is a first impression after a 6 mile first run in them. Heel counter is still excellent. I thought I felt a tight spot on the outside of my foot where the new support strap is but after 6 miles I had no hot spots so perhaps this change is OK. Still a good shoe but perhaps not quite as comfortable as the 2's.

Comments about Mens Nike LunarGlide+ 3 Running Shoe: Too much cushioning. You can't feel the road. The cushioning weakens your ankles and feet. I quickly lost strength in my ankles, and sprained my left ankle. I haven't sprained an ankle in any other pair of shoes in 5 years of serious running.
