    I'm 190 Lbs. so I need more cushioning than the Newties provide. It almost seems like Newton put all their money and focus on the energy return system and ignored the rest of the shoe. Tight toe box. If you have a high instep, these are gonna hurt. The lacing system is completely basic, which in turns lends to loose in some areas while too tight in others as the shoe wraps around your foot. They are fast and thats a lot for a guy like me, but the speed doesn't make up for the lack of cushioning that they provide.

    Shoes are great, I use them for training to have a little more support than the other, lighter newtons. I ran in the older version of this shoe and the new colors are pretty much the only update, but they look great and are still fast and reliable for a great trainer.

      bad design, this shoe is expensive and not worth its value. shoe lace is way too long and its front sole design is stupid making runner loose balance. its high responsive sole does not live up to its claim. I found Nike Lunar and Asics Gel has better strike response. use of material is poor compare to other major brands like Nike, Asics, Brooks etc,
