I am almost 70 and still running, and these shoes are the best ally I have found for my aging bones. They are beautifully cushioned throughout but still have enough forefoot flexibility for a natural mid-foot strike. The last also allows enough room so that the nail of the big toe is not impacting the front of the shoe. (Order 1/2 size up.) I am a neutral, light-weight runner and I run mostly on stone dust or blacktop trails, with some areas of roots and small rocks, and the shoes hold up well. My other 'running' shoes have mostly been relegated to the gym for x-training & weights, including my rigid trail shoes. Did I mention these shoes also look good?

I have been wearing the SyncroFloat for years. I started with the SyncroFloat II and absolutely loved them. They were the first shoe that completely got rid of my shin splints and didn't cause the ball of my foot to go numb. I will stick with this shoe until they stop making it...hopefully never. I run everyday and just bought a new pair to train for a marathon. I highly recommend this shoe for anyone who has had a hard time finding shoes that work for them. There wasn't even a break-in period, so you will love them, too. :)

Run 6 days a week and absolute love these shoes. Just switched over from Saucony. These shoes are great. Would high recommend them to any person that needs comfort and runs a lot.

I have worn the Asics 2100 series for so long, but wanted to try something different after a few foot injuries. I am training for Boston and starting to ramp up mileage and so far I love my Pearl Izumi's!

I am training for my first marathon. I am not an avid runner but have run several 5Ks and sprint tri's and used a Pearl Izuma trail runner in those races. So when I started training for the marathon I bought the ACSIC Nimbus 12 which was best for my type of foot - underpronater, high arch and they were terrible!! So I went back to the Pearl and right out of the box amazing! My feet did not go numb like most shoes do to me and I felt I could run faster. They have great support and look really good too. If you struggle with finding a good shoe that you don't want to break in.. forget the popular brands.. these shoes have never disappointed me in either the trail runner or now.

These are the best shoes out of the box, hands down. They are comfortable and fit great. One note buy a 1/2 size up because they run small. I have always run in Asics and have had major problems with blisters and knee pain. I have not had any complaints with the syncroFloat 3. Love, Love, Love these shoes.

this is my 4th pair of these shoes and i'll continue to wear these while running as long as they make them.great for training and racing!
