Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: This shoe needed no breaking in period whatsoever. I have just over 100 miles with very little, if any, breakdown. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: As an avid runner and Cross Country/Track coach I decided to train for my first marathon. As my mileage increased...so did my injuries (shin splints/knee pain). I finally went to a local specialty store. I tried a variety of shoes to address the problem. I tried the Mizuno Waverider 12 (shin splints no knee pain), Nike Triax (shin splints, no knee pain), Brooks Glycerin7 (HORRIBLE knee pain and shin splints). Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: I've been running for a since high school (I'm 29 now) and this is one of the best shoes I've ever ran in. I've ran in neutral shoes forever, usually Saucony lately Triumphs. My Triumph 4's were great but the 5's were giving me fits. Visited the ortho, he suggested a stability shoe and here we are! Just enough cushioning, not too soft, the memory foam heel is awesome and my runners knee is going away. I highly recommend. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: I am an avid runner who has had a lot of knee problems due to my IT band. I run 30-40 miles a week. I really love this shoe for many reasons (and am working on my second pair, soon to be third). It keeps my feet nice and cool as other reviews mentioned. It also has enough room to fit my orthodics without having them hang over the inside like happens with many other shoes. I would highly recommend this shoe. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: This is the second worst running shoe I've ever worn. I run 30+ miles a week and we just didn't get along. One thing it was great for was outdoor runs with a little bit of snow on the ground. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: After two months of consistent running the shoe started to come apart. I wiegh 205 lbs and put about 16-20 mi a week. Horrible shoe. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: I am a 197lb 6t tall minimal miler (12-15 per week). Positives about the shoe: The shoe does a great job of keeping my feet comfortable temperature wise. My socks are sweaty around my ankles, but my feet are not. That is impressive! Negatives: I don't remember the last time my feet and legs hurt so much from a pair of Sauconys. They hurt the support is just not there for me on the shoe. The new technology to keep your feet temperature regulated is great, but there definitely needs some attention drawn back to support and cushioning! Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: Worst running shoes i've ever bought. Did i get a dud pair? Had Progrid Triumph previously after moving away from Kayano and the Triumph was an amazing shoe. These Paramounts i ran 6km on my normal bitumen road route and was fully injury free beforehand, but while running with these brand new my knees ached, upper shins hurt and now my calves ache. I only weigh 70kg (140pounds).Beautiful Shoe but feels like you're running with straight legs on concrete. Sole had signs of wear and tear after one run and promotes running on your toes which is good but no shock absorbtion on my pair. Good moulding to my feet but major disappointment at $280 Australian. After i clean the dust off i'm taking them back tomorrow. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: Bought this shoe as a distance running shoe. I ran a 5K and a half marathon in them they did alright. After that I ran 8 miles in them and they felt like I was running on 2x4's. The seemed very hard. My knees have never hurt until now. Nice shoe just doesn't have enough cushion for me. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: Very solid shoe; however, I rate these equal to the new Guide's which are about half the price. The fit around my right arch was a bit off but other than that I've enjoyed about 350 miles of injury free running in the paramounts. If you are interested in a Saucony stability shoe then you may also want the check out the Guides and the Omni 7's (which I rate as Saucony's best shoe). Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: This is by far the best running shoe that I have ever had. Extremely comfortable. Smooth heel to toe transition. I am a Decathlete in Oregon, and for my training this is the best all around running shoe. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: Excellent shoe. The upper does seem to regulate the temp. The shoe is light and feels great. I have been wearing the hurricane but I like this shoe much better. I will order another pair when they wear out. I just hope they don't change them too soon. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: I switched to these after the ASICS gel Nimbus 9 caused me injuries everytime I run. These felt good out of the box apart from one initial blister. So far I have put 110Km on these and they have not suffered from the heal wear others have said. I run in temperatures of 30 degree plus and the uppers do seam to regulate the temperature. I would give 5 stars but I think the high price knocks one star off. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: great running shoe i weigh over 200 lbs and this shoe can bear the load. great fit and comfort. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: Great shoes for someone over 200lbs who runs alot Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: Like running on clouds. Excellent fit and superb cushioning. Breaths very well. However its is a bit pricy- Saucony should decrease it Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: Saw the other reviews before I put mine on and was very weary, but I love them. I had always worn a Hurricane and loved the 5, 7, and 9. Hated the 6 and the 8. This shoe has more cushion and is lighter as well. I thought the fit was right on par with the rest of the Saucony shoes I have. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: After 4 runs heal wore thru to the gray sent them back thought they were a defective pair. Same thing happened on second pair. Darn shame because I loved the fit and ride. Comments about Mens Saucony Progrid Paramount Running Shoe: I have 48 miles on mine and the lateral side of the heel where I land is already showing significant wear. The forefoot is not the traditional, roomy classic saucony forefoot fit. Even without any overlays and all the mesh, it is not a normal "d" width. It is narrower, than my new balance 902 "d" width shoe by at least 1/4"! Nor is the toe box deep, but rather quite shallow!. My final complaint is that the arch is collapsing. This shoe is definitely built for a smaller runner,I would say under 160lbs.
