Decent shoes, but a very poor replacement for the old Grid Swerve LS. I have not found anything that comes close yet. If someone knows of a shoe that approximates the LS, please let me know

6'2", 185, high arch, mild O.P.,ran for last 8 months in kayano13, good shoe, but maybe not for high arch. First run in guides felt great,support for my high arches, super light, adequate stab. control, bye bye shin splints! 2 minutes faster in 3 mile....just sayin'.

I have been committed to the Triumph recently, but switched to the ProGrid Guide to try to save a few bucks. They are not as cushioned as the Triumph, but still have that narrow heel that Saucony is famous for. These are a great fit, and I'll probably buy another pair. I'm 6'0, 150 lbs., and use these for marathon training.

Outstanding stability. Forefoot cushioning is fine. It needs more cushioning in the heel to make the ride more confortable.

Tremendous shoe....ran a 1/2 marathon in these right out of the box...love the stability and light weight..would recommend to anyone who has tried Asics 2100 series or anything similar.

I have always wanted to try Saucony shoes. This was my first pair. I was impressed with them on day one, and after three months of use, I'm still just as impressed. Very stable, light weight, and my foot rolls off the toe so easy it's almost like the shoe is running itself (wouldn't that be nice!).

Overall a very good shoe for the price. I rate these equal to the paramounts which cost double. Also, better outsole durability than the new huricanes.

I am female, 6', 138 lbs give or take a donut, I run 20-30 miles a week, and I am trying to find a decent, cushioned stability shoe. Invariably I find myself in men's shoes since you have to size up a half or full-size, but women's shoe rarely come above size 12 (which fits like my street size 11). After reading the mostly positive reviews I had high hopes for this shoe, but it was disappointing. The ride is very hard. I ran a 15-miler in them this past Saturday and my feet really hurt by the time I was done. I had beat up soles and toes, like there was no cushioning right out of the box. The forefoot was a bit sloppy as well. I felt like I was slapping my foot and there was zero energy return. Oh well, the search continues.

these shoes feel great. they have great stability for such a lightweight shoe and offer great traction on any surface and are very confortable over any mileage

Lighter weight, Cushy but Stable. This is the best trainer in the current market for high mirage runners with slight / moderate overpronation. One thing we have to be in mind is its medial support is smaller and less supportive than other brands such as Asics 2100 series. if you need more stability, I recommend Omni or Hurricane range.

these shoes are by far the BEST shoes i have worn, i run an avg of 50 mpw and they feel like running on air. they are very supportative. i recomend these for anybody with a higher arch, or anyone in between.

I bought the new Saucony Progrid Guides to replace my aging Trigon 5 Guides. This is the replacement for that model and as good as the Trigons were, these are even better.
My new "Guides" are awesome. Very similar to their predecessors. Little more mid-foot room and slightly more robust forefoot cushioning. I'm usually happy if my shoes simply "don't do anything wrong" but these go beyond that. All in all couldn't be happier with them.

Saucony seems to be making shoes better and better. I am extremely picky with my shoes as it seems 9 our of 10 shoes i try leave me injured and unable to run after 3 weeks of running in them. i am a slight OP i am 6' 145lb and this shoe is perfect. it is light enough for me to not feel like i am wearing a clunker and it does not give me too much support to where i feel like i am running on bricks. I wore out the first pair in the city and the second pair running on trails in the mountains of wyoming. I would say the only thing i dont like is that in extremely rocky areas my toes rub and start to blister but honestly i dont care because everything else about the shoe is great!

Nice and light, good fit, good cushioning, very little stability. I could use this shoe for interval training, short training runs, and short races (10K or less) but not as a daily stability trainer. I'm 5'10", 165 lbs., moderater OP.
