I ran in the Hurricanes for years and then got away from them, for some reason. Two different shoe stores put me into Mizuno Wave Riders and I developed knee pain. In over 15 years of running I never had knee pain, but I figured I was just getting older and TWO professionals couldn't be wrong, could they? But, finally, when it looked like I may have to stop running, I decide to do some research. After thinking about returning to Saucony, I read reviews about the Ride on this website and was sold!!! My first run I worried about my pinky toe, as others had mentioned, but, on subsequent runs forgot totally about it. My knees are fine, the ride is comfortable and just cushioned enough. I'll be back for more! Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: This shoe is a solid choice for Neutral striders. After training in a Stability shoe (wrong shoe for me) and suffering knee and ankle pain because I didn't need the stability, I was fitted into the Ride. I bought this shoe less than 2 weeks before a marathon and had no problems--no blisters, no pain, no hot spots. And did I mention no more knee and ankle pain?! Great fitting shoe. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: Brilliant brilliant trainer! I used to wear the hurricane style and noticed recently that i started to get ankle and knee pain. Turns out I didnt need the support trainer i needed a neutral shoe. These are so comfy and highly recommend them, plus my pain has completeley disappeared! Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: Its an excellent running shoes on any terrain. Good cushioning and toe space is wide enough, its comfortable for the high mileage run. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: Last year was a bad year for me for finding a running shoe -- until I found the ProGrid Ride. Hallelujah, nice mix of flexible & responsive, fits perfectly (I have much a wider forefoot than heel) and has a decent life span. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: I've been running for several years now, and tried many different brands of running shoe. This shoe has re-invigorated my love for running. Gone are the calf pains, and issues I've had in the past. Running in fun again! I run 30 - 40 miles a week in these shoes, and half marathons and I will buy them again, and again! Try them! Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: The overall cushioning system is pretty good. As others have noted, the toe box is a bit narrow, and the tongue does slide during runs. These shoes have worn out much too quickly on the soles & cushioning system in comparison to other brands that I have had (I only run 2-3 miles 5-6x's per wk.). I am going to try the Asics Landereth next. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: I am not sure if it is the shoe itself or if the shoe is not a good fit for my feet but these shoes really upset my achilles every single time I run in them. I alternate them with two other pairs of shoes that have no affect on my achilles. These shoes give me an angry achilles tendon after every run. In general they feel fine while I'm running but I can't wear them twice in a row because of the achilles issue. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: The BEST running shoes I have ever owned! I tried on the more expensive Saucony Triumph and they didn?t compare! Due to joint pain and aches I was never able to run more then 3x/week, these shoes give great cushoning and I haven't had one knee ache even when increasing my workouts to 4-5x/week. For the first week of wearing these shoes my small toe did experience some rubbing but after breaking them in I haven?t had any problems. I shattered my personal best time by 2 minutes in a recent 5K! I?m sure I can?t give all the credit to the shoes but the ache free run really helped. The verdicts out on durabilty as I?ve only had these for 2 months, but I?ll be buying them again reguardless. I haven?t felt this great running in years! Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: The first two long runs, I got a blister on the inside of my heel, first the right then the left foot. After that they were never a problem again. Something with the tight heel cup maybe? I will get another pair, but tape that area the first few weeks of wear. Never had a problem with tongue shift. Use a runner's tie on the laces and it never moves. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: Love this shoe! I've been searching for a Saucony shoe that I love as much as I loved the early Jazz--these are it. First run was 4 miles on treadmill--felt great so wore them for a 12 mile run and total comfort. I'm ordering a second pair today. Great for nuetral runners--nice cushion and roomy-but not too roomy-toe box. Love them! Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: This is the best replacement I have found for my beloved Nike Vomero 2s (I hate the Vomero 3s). I haven't had any issues with the toe box feeling narrow or the tongue shifting as others have described. I tried the more expensive Triumph 6s, but I reeally like the Ride better. I have rigid feet with high arches and these are a great fit for me. Also I have recurring problems with fasciitis and these do not aggravate it. I think they are great. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: Bought these shoes after years of not being on a running program to train for the Boston marathon and LOVE it. I have no problem with the width. I actually think that it has a very room toe. The only thing that I don't worry about it my shoes. I am buying a second pair to start working them in for the race. You won't be disappointed with these distance shoes. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: Love the cushioning. Hate the narrow toebox... I'm getting blisters on my big toe and my little toe... and I have narrow feet. I doubt that I'll buy another pair but they worked for a while. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: I had the saucony progrid trigon 5 before I purchased the ride. Unfortunately, the ride has a much narrower toe box and is not quite as comfortable. Please let Saucony know that we runners need the wider toe box. Otherwise, the shoe is a decent runner. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: i didnt notice the tight fit..... i enjoy this shoe, i am running many miles in them training for my cross country. i really hope that they dont discurage runners to try it Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: i luv this shoe, it feel awesome, the last runner was correct everyone has to try it!! i used to have injuries in my other shoe such as soreness and a pian in my arch this shoe thats all in the past and i feel young again ha ha Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: I LOVE THIS SHE I WAS IN THE WAVE RIDER 11 AND I HATED THEM. I TRIED THIS SHOE AND I CANT STOP RINNING. THE HEEL FIT IS A TID TIGHT BUT I NOTICED AS I RUN THAT THAT WASNT SUCH A BAD THING EVERYONE SHOULD TRY THIS SHOE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: Love this shoe!! I also was training in the mizuno waverider 11's and having calf/ankle/achilles pain. When I saw Jess's review I bought a pair of these & my pain is gone! Just like that. These shoes are the miracle I was looking for & I feel young again!! Thanks for all the reviews, they helped me find the perfect shoe! Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Ride Running Shoe: I find this shoe to be very comfortable with the right amount of support but the tongue continues to shift multiple times throughout a run. I find myself stopping to tie these shoes again and again and it is getting very frustrating. Anyone else have this experience with this or any other shoe? Any advice? Not sure what the problem is but I may have to try another shoe.
