I've been dealing with anterior tibial tendonitis on my left foot/ankle for the past year, which the super-flexible ProGrid Triumph 5's helped with a lot. After reading the reviews about the better cushioning, I had high hopes for the 6. I could tell upon removing the shoes from the box that they were much more rigid than the 5's but as the cushioning is really excellent I thought I'd give them a try. After wearing them a month, I now have anterior tibial tendonitis on my right foot/ankle. I think these shoes are probably 5 stars and great for people who need a more rigid shoe, but are not good for those (few) of us who need super flexibility. I describe my situation in detail as I rarely see anyone with similar conditions/feet write review. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: When I started running, I got severe shin pains. But with these shoes and special arch support insoles, things got a whole lot better. Now I am running pain free and feel great. These are a GREAT buy. Love them. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: I bought these after working with a fit expert at the Road Runner Sports Store. They fit me really well and I just ran the NYC Marathon in them. They are great! Please don't discontinue them!!! Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: i had to return these. something was hurting my arches, not sure if it was the rigidity of the plastic arch lock wrap on the medial side (not pictured) or the footbed. i am an ave-high arched neutral-slight underpronator, and anything rubbing against the arch causes pain. so....back to the asics nimbus for me. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: Good cushioning, good fit. Something in these particular Sauconys does not allow normal pronation on me and I wound up supinating in them. Painful after just 10 minutes on a treadmill. I suspect the design of the shoes with the rigid plastic arch-lock on the instep is to blame. (this is not shown in the picture) Personally, I would class this as a stability shoe because of that feature. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: You have to break them in at first. 3o mins jogging my feet would cramp up! Takes about 2wks. Then after they are great for long distance 6-10miles.They are really light.I like them. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: LOVE THIS SHOE. I generally go with a stability shoe; but, with the advice of a road runner expert, I went with this neutral shoe, since I already have orthodics to fix my over pronation. Light weight, cushion is great. Ran 7 miles first time on, and NO problems (blisters), etc. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: Each time that I wore these shoes, it caused my knees to ache so badly that I couldn't even squat without pain. I am normally an ASICS wearer and thought I would try out the shoes that my family does. They did not have the cushioning I expected and the soles got pretty hot when running. Returned the shoes. I'm back to (b)ASICS. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: My feet were happy the minute these shoes surrounded them. I am a HUGE fan of Saucony...they seem to be created on a shoe last that mimics my feet. This shoe breathes well and has a nice amount of "cush" in the forefoot; a spot that seems to take abuse due to my stride. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: I agree...very stiff shoe. Used my orthotic insert and got arch pain. Will not wear the shoe to run in again! The shoe fits more like a stability shoe than a neutral shoe. Need to buy half size up. Like the 5's better, but the laces in the 5's aren't good quality. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: Love this shoe. Since they discontinued the Triumph 4 I didn't think I'd find another shoe that would give me the stability and cushioning I need. I don't know what the company was thinking when they made the 5's. I have high arches and a neutral, high mileage runner. If they can't bring back the 4's, this shoe is the next best thing. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: great for othotics and bunions. love them so far. midfoot is snug and suppotive as is the heel area. toe box is nice and smooth woithout the stiching friction in the 5s.maybe they got it right this time. too soon fome to tell about durabiity. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: Lots of cushioning, but really stiff. If you liked the 5s, then these will be a real disappointment. I'm now looking for more 5s to tide me over. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: This shoe took a while for me to break in. I almost returned it the first two weeks but decided to give it a chance and am very happy I did. I love how light it is and it's great for long runs. It does push my foot outward more than I would like since I tend to underpronate anyway but all in all this has been a great shoe to run with. No sore arches after a run which would always happen with the Nike Pegasus. I would recommend this shoe. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: I originally was recommended these at a specialty store to train for a half marathon. I have wide feet and an underpronator with all the existing injuries and these shoes really do the trick. Great support, the insole really helps with my knee pain and even the colors are great. I am not the girly type so I hate bright pink sneakers but the purple color is girly enough and looks really nice. A little expensive compare with others but they are worth every penny. I'm already on my 3rd pair and getting a couple more to keep in stock. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: I adore this shoe. This is the second pair I have owned. I have a neutral foot but need lots of cushioning. These shoes do the trick. I run on a country road...banked and lots of gravel. Usually at nite or the early morning when it is hard to see. These shoes have good grip and keep me balanced. Nice wide toe box too! I have a regular width so I have to lace them pretty tight. But no worries. I will be back for more. Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: I just bought these and wore them once - I LOVE THEM! My feet felt like they were springing off the ground and I ran over 1 min/mile better than usual on a 3.8 mile run. I felt great after the run as well. I am 37 and 153 lbs. I have worn ASICS, Mizuno and Nike in the past. I liked all of those - I LOVE these. Can't wait to run again!!!! Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: Just ordered my third pair to break in for my first marathon. Love them and even though I didn't originally choose these shoes for their look, they ARE cute. Let's face it - the grey base shoes hide the dirt better! I graduated from the Saucony Ride at the recommendation of the folks at my local running store and am so please w/ them. The wide toe box is perfect for my Fred Flinstone feet and the cushion is just what I need for the longer distances! LOVE THEM and can't wait to get my grey/purple ones! Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: I haven't twisted my ankles yet in these shoes. I Love Them! Comments about Womens Saucony ProGrid Triumph 6 Running Shoe: These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Not quite as springy as my Nike Vomero, but more comfortable. I can wear them for running and then not even want to take them off when I get home. Perfect!!
