        The Ride 4 is a great lightweight neutral shoe. They have great support for my high arches and provide a good snug fit all around. The liners are well vented - after a run my toes often feel cooler than the rest of my body. I generally run about 30-35 miles per week, training for my first full. About 230 miles on them so far, and no signs of significant wear.

        One person commented about the tongue sliding down into the shoe, and I have experienced the same issue. Also, these are not the most cushioned shoes on the market. I ran in Grid Cohesion shoes prior to the Ride, and these felt like pillows but didn't have quite the ventilation of the Ride. It's like going from a 65 aspect ratio (relative thickness around the rim) on a tire a 45. You certainly feel more of the road giving it a sportier feel. But there is enough cushion to give your foot a smooth comfortable stride.

        Overall, a lightweight high-arch breathing shoe with enough cushion to go the distance without breaking the bank.

        I was excited because I have been running in Saucony Ride since V 1. For some reason they skimped on the tongue and it slides into the shoe by the time I have finished only 1 mile and I average 5-6 miles with longer weekend runs. Maybe that is how they made this shoe a bit lighter than predecessor.Very annoying.
