      Simply the best shoe I've ever owned. Although categorized as a trail running shoe, it's also great when utilized as a cross-trainer in the gym. I'm currently stationed in Iraq and use this shoe on terrain such as sand, rocky soil and uneven pavement. This shoe never fails regardless of the extreme terrain that the Iraqi environment throws at me!

        I have worn a pair of these terrific shoes for just over a year in all sorts of wet and snowy weather -- and stayed dry and comfortable throughout. As running shoes, they provide excellent traction, great stability, and a very comfortable ride -- right out of the shoe box. Although waterproof, they have not been too hot, even during the summer when running in the rain. They are also sufficiently good looking that I've worn them many days to work, where I often have to walk (or run, because I'm running late) several blocks from one building to another, and when traveling to conferences, wearing them as they only shoes I bring. I have had no problems with the uppers; I just replaced my first pair with a new pair because I had worn down the tread on the soles. Overall, these are great shoes.

          Just Love these shoes Im an Ultra runner average 80+ miles a week, ill ascend and descend 10000+ feet in one run and the shoes grip,Hold,fit,hug both my feet and the ground i pound my fanny off!I love the lace system its quick incase debree falls in or as im descending down a mountain and need more tighting to it. Shoe just feels super good highly recoomend them Ive ran with Addidas for yrs but they are twice as heavy and twice as likely to roll your ankles as i have. Still like addidas but Salomon earned my buiseness :-)
