Comments about Ultimate Direction Fastdraw Extreme Hydration:

I love the bottle cap - you can bite it to get your drink vs. pull and push the cap up and down - best bottle out there!

Comments about Ultimate Direction Fastdraw Extreme Hydration:

This is the best bottle I've ever used for running or cycling. The spout is genius, easy to use, and - best of all - doesn't leak. The pouch is great, too, especially having the sleeve cover the entire bottle. Others I've used don't cover the bottle and you end up with a slippery, sweaty mess in your hands! The only ding on this, which is probably actually a good design feature, is that it's a bit tough to re-insert the bottle in the sleeve after washing because the sleeve's so tight. Better than a sloppy, loose sleeve, though.

Comments about Ultimate Direction Fastdraw Extreme Hydration:

so this quick draw valve is supposed to be able to direct the stream into your mouth. I have never found the usual bite and pull with your teeth difficult to use, so it did not seem a problem that needed fixing. The valve really takes a FIRM tug to open, but once you get used to it, it's okay. The rest is very nicely made, high quality construction and should hold up well.

Comments about Ultimate Direction Fastdraw Extreme Hydration:

My main issue with this water bottle was that it was ergonomically difficult to hold while running. It has a very small zip pocket and there is no space between the zip pocket and the bottle to rest your thumb. If you have small hands and put many things in the pocket, you end up having a very wide, ungrippable water bottle.

Good points: Insulation, nice design for bottle top.

Comments about Ultimate Direction Fastdraw Extreme Hydration:

I began running a few months ago and as my distance increased I needed some hydration along the way but didn't want to stash water bottles and stop to get them as some people suggested. I was concerend from other reviews that running with a water bottle would be tiring or heavy to carry but it was quite the oppoiste and you barely notice it. This water bottle is light, even when full, and the neoprene cover is a great barrier between your hand and the bottle; even when it is ice cold your hand doesn't get cold an stays dry. There is a reflective strap where your hand goes (which was a nice feature for me because I run at night) that can be tightened or loosened depending on your hand size. You can also use it with either hand. The best part is the nozzle. It took me a minute to understand it but the directions are very clear. It gives you just a quick shot of water or you can squeeze it for a bigger gulp. I liked this because I would normally drink too much early on and run out. This nozzle gives me just enough. You can have this thing upside down and it won't leak. The pouch for a key or ID is a great feature too. I highly recommend this product!

Best bottle I've ever owned. I typically run on trails and some pavement for 1-5 hours at a time. This bottle is perfect for the runs: holding keys, Gu, phone; and, can hold and properly dispense juices mixed with Chia seeds - a HUGE plus for me. The cost is comparable to the average running bottle, but has numerous additional benefits.

Comments about Ultimate Direction Fastdraw Extreme Hydration:

I use handheld bottles on all my runs that are longer than an hour. The UD Fastdraw Extreme is my favorite. The neoprene around the bottle is supposed to insulate the water inside but I think that another benefit of wrapping the bottle in squishy neoprene is that it makes it more comfortable than other handhelds, even other UD ones.
The special "kicker valve" does take a few drinks to get used to using, but once you do, I think it works much better than other water bottles.
The zippered compartment will hold a key and some money or two gels.

I use this handheld bottle in my long runs since I dont like to carry a belt around my waist (friends get blisters w/them). For 1/2 and Full Marathons you could easily open the cap and refil in one of the water stations to continue your hydration whenever you want to. I like it and now I am used to run with it.(it was wierd in the beggining)

Pruchased for my wife to take on power walks and 5K runs. She loves it in the hot summer months.
Spill proof sipping nipple requires a squeeze to get fluid out. Good design to prevent spilling on you even when moving arm. Strap on hand is nicely adjustable.

Works well for absorbing the sweat from your hand and the bottle. Doesn't keep the water cold for very long when out on a long, hot run.

I use this water bottle for runs between 7-10 miles. It is light enough not to bother me too much when running. I like that is has a pouch which I use for my keys.

The only issue I had was pulling the drinking mechanism out to get the water to flow properly.

Comments about Ultimate Direction Fastdraw Extreme Hydration:

I am very happy with the Ultimate Direction Fastdraw. The cap and drinking mechanism is ideal, especially when exhausted at mile 10. The case is very comfortable around the hand. The water or sports drink stays cold much longer since your hand does not directly touch the bottle. The only thing that would make it better would be to enlarge the pouch a little. It is good for an ID and a key. You could maybe fit one gel in there. That is about it. Also, the bottle is good about not leaking, but you have to screw the lid on tight.

I liked it enough that I bought two more as gifts for family.
