I had heard and read good things about Zoot, but they were very difficult to find in Australia, and if you could they were very expensive. Finally on holidays to the US in 2010 I found Road Runners in Seattle and tried them. Within thirty seconds they felt right. Almost like a sock, great cushioning and perfect. I'll take them I said straight away. I wear them nearly everyday as a trainer and casual shoe. They fell so good. My times have improved and I won't go back to a Kayano which feels twice as heavy. My second pair just arrived in the mail yesterday and can't wait to get into them. My wife just ordered a pair, worn them once and is super happy. A veteran of 15 years with Asics, she won't go back. Great work Zoot. How can you improve on these?

I own 2 pairs and thats all I want to run in. One pair is a 1/2 size larger to wear with socks. I like running without socks and this shoe does great. I run on average 12 - 15 miles a week. I own 3 other pairs of shoes and they don't get much action now that I have found Zoot!

I have been wearing Zoot shoes for over 3 years and they have always made amazing racers but finally they have an amazing shoe to train in. I wore these bad boys for 24 mile run in the pouring rain and not only was I comfotable but my feet were dry to the bone thanks to the new fabric that they have that literally is 100% waterproof. You can't go wrong with this shoe its even light enough to race in of you are on a tight budget! Reccomend the Ultra TT if you can afford a second pair for racing.

Best for efficient runners with no biomechanical problems, and awesome, at that. Will breakdown quickly for heavy strikers. They feel like your running barefoot, except with cushioned bottoms.

Might be the best and most comfortable shoe that I have ever ran in. Light weight. Might not hold up to all running conditions but for now they are great. Like to see more colors to choose from in the future.

Runs a full size small. I wear size 11 in regular work and cycling shoes. Running shoes I've always been 11.5. Wanted to try some Zoots so I ordered 11.5 and they were too small - 12's fit perfectly so these are running a full size smaller. Not enough miles in these to get a full review on durability, but right off the bat these are SUPER comfortable shoes. Up until now I been running in Asics DS Trainers and Sky Speed shoes. Definitely getting another pair of Zoots the next time I need shoes.

Training for a Half Marathon, after reading reviews thought I'd give these a try. 6.5 Miles right out of the box, and I loved every mile. Feels like a glove on your foot. Great cushion, these were a great choice for some high mileage training.

Extremely comfortable. More support than I thought. I wanted a TRI race shoe that was sockless and light; ya get both with this shoe. Great first run right outta the box. I believe they're worth the cost, my first Zoot shoe purchase, won't be my last. I put Lock Laces on em instead of regular laces.

Zoot TT is my all-time favorite shoe
Tried these as a slightly heavier trainer / long run shoe
Comfortable but the lacing system does not hold firm - tends to loosen as you run
Had to size up one-half size versus my Zoot TT's

I am a heavy runner at 240lbs. After reading many of the reviews on this shoe I decided to give them a shot. I'm currently training for a marathon in August, and these shoes are just the trick. I took them out of the box and ran an easy 6 miler with no problems. I did put in my own custom insoles, and running in them is a dream. Highly recommended!!

I am a dedicated Newton runner, but for anyone wanting to ease their way into a lower profile shoe and become a midfoot striker, these may be for you...good with my full length orthotics, and a nice alternate to my Newton's

I took the recommendation and ordered a half size up and the shoes fit perfectly. This is my second pair of Kalanis. I am a heavier runner (215 lbs) and I got nearly 450 miles out of the first pair. I did replace the insole that came with the shoe with a set of Arch Mold insoles as I have a fairly high arch. Shoes are a little pricey but are really comfortable and held up really well.

Am training for my 1st 50 miler and they are one of the best lightweight training shoes I could ask for. They are light weight have a good cushion and are breathable. I will definitely purchase this shoe again. I would have given it 5 stars but my computer wouldn't let me

I switched from the Newton line of running shoes due to wear issues on the shoes. Now dont get me wrong I loved the Newton shoes-I just love these shoes that much better.

I had never ran in Zoots before so this is my first impression. The shoe has just the perfect amount of cushion for a 220 lbs ultra marathoner like me. I have ran in every shoe imaginable and these are by far my favorite. They are uber light, supportive in only the right ways and they feel like extentions of my natural foot.

I would highly suggest that if you are looking for a light weight, neutral-cushion runner, then these are your shoes.

Let me start by saying I have problems with my plantar, and arch support and cushion is hard to find in a ultra light tri shoe. I had put about 5k on this shoe before I had an Olympic tri. Only 2 days old these puppies helped me break a PR on a very hilly course, and no blisters. I was previously using Zoot Ultra Speed's(hardly a shoe for a person with my problems) for my sprints, but I decided to use the Kalani's instead once again another PR. I highly recommend these if your looking for speed, light weight and support. Buy some speed laces and your set for a smooth ride.
